Man, they sure raised the price of that thing... I get these gadgets all the time... I do use this & the magic bullet when we are traveling. I use the abkiever pan too...( I think... -

Hi Judy I think there is only one size unless they came out with a newer version. I don't think that they did. You can fit a boneless small half breast in it but again I mainly use it for breakfast & sandwiches. I have put a slcie of bread in it added some deli meat & cheese & a few veggies , put a top slice of bread & grilled ... It works... -
ARCHIVED Does Anyone Get Sick From Wine?
mamaw replied to RunnerGirl4's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
It could be the sulfates used to kill the bacteria in the wine processing. I can't drink any wine that has been processed in that manner. There are three or four wines Organic that does not use that process... Could be alot more that I don't know about.hth -

Hi Judy I think I have one of those in our fifth wheel. It has two triangle spaces where you put food in & close the lid for a few seconds? I'm not positive it is the same thing but t is an express griller. A short , stocky ,sweet talking lady advertizes it on TV. I forget her name. I've had this for a couple of years now. I use it for breakfast... -

mamaw replied to gfp's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
I'm not sure where you reside but there are laws that should be followered. If you work an 8 hour shift you are supposed to be permitted an 1/2 hour break. SOme places here in Pa give only fifteen minutes but pay the employees for the total 8 hours. Other 15 min. usual breaks are not manitory but many business' do that as an incentive. I would call the... -
ARCHIVED Best Value Hotel At Disney World
mamaw replied to fedora's topic in Traveling with Celiac Disease
We love Disney Florida! The hotels are Good, Better, best so for an average rating & fee you would want in the middle bracket..... Disney does a wonderful job of serving gluten-free foods. I would suggest buying the dining pass, it saved us so much. And never were we charged more for gluten-free food. Have you gone to their site? Or you can call &... -

ARCHIVED Fast Food Choices?
mamaw replied to todzwife's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
cinnamon The McDonald's grilled chicken salad is not ok any longer. We too used to love them for a quick meal. The chicken is flash frozen or glazed frozen which I'm told now contains gluten. sorry. -
My suggestion would be if you go out to eat stick to salads & things you know are fairly safe. Try to find places that offer a gluten-free menu. Red Robin, Outback, Smokey Bones, Taco Bell (not muchavailable but good for a quick lunch) , Boston Market & so on. Eating at your Aunts house I would take a cooler full of my food . Explain that you understand...

This is a question I also had about a year ago! Quick oats are steamed & smaller cut. The only gluten-free oats that are quick oats are from the "OnlyOats" this is the brand name.
