  1. The reason why products matter is because they can easily get into your mouth. Think about it..if you wash your hands with gluten containing soap and then prepare your food you cross contaminate. With shampoos, it can easily slide down your face in the water and how often do you touch your hair throughout the day without even thinking about it...that gets...
  2. Trident is gluten free but do you eat the sugar free kind? Some people have problems with artificial sweeteners.
  3. Nausea was one of my main symptoms. It was horrible for me. It took some time for it to go away and I was not back to normal for about 8 months. I did feel alot better well before then though. Everyone is different though and varies among times. If you would like some lists that will help with mainstream foods we can have, products we can use, and good...
  4. I tried to send you some lists but it says your email is unknown and sent it back to me
  5. This is the response I received: I would definitely not eat them.
  6. That is a hard question to answer because not everyone is the same. For me, I feel it right away and my reactions last about 2 weeks. For some people they get delayed reactions, some feel it right away, some get no symptoms at all. Reaction times vary from a few days to a few weeks.
  7. Please watch out for the Gluten Free Bible...that has some inaccuracies about products and what is and what is not gluten free. There was a discussion about it which celiac3270 started about the concern of this book for the new people to celiac. For people who have had celiac for a while it's probably ok for.
  8. I just looked and did not see that on the Delphi list. I have had no problem with the Neutrogena gluten free products.
  9. No, monosodium glutamate known as msg is fine from a gluten standpoint. Now, from a health standpoint it's bad for everyone. There is also an amino acid called glutamate that is fine too.
  10. Lists are good for guidelines but I have definitely learned to always check the ingredients no matter what.
  11. I got on their website and emailed them so I should here back from them fairly quickly and will post their response.
  12. The following are gluten-free: Snickers (except mini's in Canada); Skittles; Starburst; Dove (milk & dark choc); Mars Almond Bar; 3Musketeers; MilkyWay Midnight (all other MilkyWay's are not gluten-free). All mini versions of the above are gluten-free except Snickers in Canada) That is from the Delphi List Last time I called the company they told...
  13. Snickers are also gluten free. Do you have the Delphi list and the list of brands which will not hide anything?
  14. Nestle is a brand that will indicate gluten like Kraft. Anyways, Butterfingers are gluten free and so are Tootsie Rolls.
  15. Yes they are gluten free. Also, Hershey's will clearly indicate gluten on the label in the form of wheat, rye, barley, oats.
  16. Who manufactures them? I will check them out but I have to know the brand name first.
  17. I do have to applaud you for coming on this site and apologizing for the lack of knowledge with the response. It shows you do have an interest in learning about it and are at least trying. Some companies would blow this off and continue to let it happen. The fact that you are trying to do something speaks volumes.
  18. Balance bars will clearly indicate gluten. They have quite a few that are gluten free.
  19. I totally agree with what you are saying. I am not for all of those artificial hormones because I do not think it is good for your body. My mom told me she was on it for a while and it screwed her up. Some people in my family have also used it and are not fans of them because they did not have good experiences either. I think there is a more natural way to...
  20. You are probably having a gluten reaction. We can't have wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, kamut and a few other ones too. If you check the safe/forbidden list you will see what you can and can't have. Do you have the lists to help as guidelines?
  21. What were your original #'s? Are they lower than the first time? 3 months may not be enough time to get rid of symptoms...and if your levels were really high it can take time for #'s to go back down and heal.
  22. Have you changed products like makeups, shampoos, soaps, lotions, perfumes, hairpsprays, etc?
  23. Do you see where it says PM ...along that same line there is a button that says edit....its's not as far down as where the add reply button is so scroll up a little bit and you should be able to find it.
  24. Edit is right next to the quote and reply button so yes you can edit it. You did not do anything wrong...if that is public info and they sent it to you then they need to realize that can end up on here and they should not send anything they do not want reposted. I would just edit it and not worry about it after that.

    ARCHIVED Goat Milk

My mom has the goat milk/cheese more than she has the cow's. Apparently it is easier to digest and she finds it settles better on her stomach. She can have some cows milk but when she has alot she notices some problems. I have not tried the goats milk or cheese yet..but may try it to see how it tastes and compares to the cows milk.
