Mine goes away and stays away as long as I avoid gluten and lactose if I get any amounts it returns and I have to take a Prilosec to stop it. You can try giving her an antacid to help lessen her pain but check with the doctor first for dosage and type. It won't affect the out come of the biopsy as long has she continues to eat gluten.

When you go in for the biopsy ask the GI doc of he/she will test for Candida at the same time. You can have both at the same time and Candida dies seem to go along with Celiac in a lot of patients. I had that problem I was treated with Nystatin and Diflucan. The Diflucan worked the best after taking it for about a year I haven't had yeast infections at all... -
I eat fish on occasion without my DH acting up. It's the shellfish that you have to avoid the most. Also ditch the soy. It can cause problems for many as well as gluten. You listed breast milk? Are you staying away from the things that she has trouble with? The proteins that cause the problems can pass through the milk to the child. -

ARCHIVED Hodgson Mills Mixes
emaegf replied to MelindaLee's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I've only tried the pancake mix. I really like it for waffles they turn out light a crispy. Like gluten filled in taste. It contains sorghum which I like the flavor of. With any product gluten free or not there are some that you will like and some you won't but other swill. It's persoanl preferance. -
