  2. Mine goes away and stays away as long as I avoid gluten and lactose if I get any amounts it returns and I have to take a Prilosec to stop it. You can try giving her an antacid to help lessen her pain but check with the doctor first for dosage and type. It won't affect the out come of the biopsy as long has she continues to eat gluten.

  8. When you go in for the biopsy ask the GI doc of he/she will test for Candida at the same time. You can have both at the same time and Candida dies seem to go along with Celiac in a lot of patients. I had that problem I was treated with Nystatin and Diflucan. The Diflucan worked the best after taking it for about a year I haven't had yeast infections at all...

  11. Hall's, Ricola, Luden's and most other's are gluten free. Not all products that are gluten free are labeled gluten free since there is no standard definition of gluten yet by the government.
  12. I have seen liver for sale in the freezer section where thye have other frozen meats. It was in a small box but I have also seen it sold in plastic containers.

  14. Also Udi's pizza crusts are very good and thin. You can find them in the freezer section.
  15. Also ditch the soy. It can cause problems for many as well as gluten. You listed breast milk? Are you staying away from the things that she has trouble with? The proteins that cause the problems can pass through the milk to the child.

  17. I've only tried the pancake mix. I really like it for waffles they turn out light a crispy. Like gluten filled in taste. It contains sorghum which I like the flavor of. With any product gluten free or not there are some that you will like and some you won't but other swill. It's persoanl preferance.
  18. Last year when I started going back to church. a friend told me they have set aside an area in the chapel for all the gluten free memembers. We have so many gluten-free that we have a section of 3 rows. Are sacrement is passed we can change seats if we choose but it's nice to know we can partake without worry and ramifications later.

  22. The best thing I have found that works once an out break starts is a product called RM-10 by Garden of Life. Start with 2 a day and they should start healing up and stop itching in a few days.
  23. I purchased my copy last Monday (Dec 20) at a local grocery store. There are from scratch recipes as well as some that use the Betty Crocker gluten free mixes.

  25. Sure hope soo. I've eatten half a bag this last week without problem, and I'm really sensitive to gluten but haven't had any problems so far.
