    I wonder why Quaker Oats wouldn't want to guarantee a wheat free oat and target both consumers (the gluten free consumer and the gluten consumer). Just doesn't make since.

    I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease about two months ago and am doing fine. I just had soy beans today and an hour later my stomach feels like it is bloated like it did before I was diagnosed with celiac disease. What are symptoms if you are allergic to soy too and does it cause the same damage that gluten does?

    Thanks for recommending Udi's bread. I just received it today with the muffins and they are both excellent! The wheat bread taste like an english muffin and my kids even like it. I offered to make them more and they felt bad for eating my special bread. I told them not to worry about it. I am so excited to finally have bread again. Thanks again!

    But even if they did use utensils, who is to say they didn't touch the tortilla with those utensils and then contaminate the cheese and lettuce.

    Thanks for the advice. I have only been gluten free for about 8 weeks now, so why no dairy or soy? Also, I am fine after eating oatmill, it's just today after my apple and yogurt did I notice being tired. I can't recall what foods I ate before and then getting tired so will start to keep better track so I can see what's going on.

    Does anyone have this problem? Today I hat oatmill for breakfast and 3 hours later for snack I had an apple with p-nut butter and low fat Yoplait yogurt and now I feel so tired. I have had this before with other foods too. Any thoughts on why this is?

    My TTG was at 100 when I was diagnosed 8 weeks ago. I haven't had another blood test because my doc said to wait 3 months, but this past week is when I finally started firming up, so I know I am doing something right! I also eat those special yogurts that contain the probiotics once a day so not sure if that has helped speed up the process. Good luck...

    I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Do you mind me asking what her complications were or what you thought she died from? Did you think Lupus or did she have other symptoms? Thyroidism and Cancer runs in my family and as a child I had a problem with my Thyroid, but it corrected itself after being on medication for two years. My daughters have it now...

    Where do I find the Gluten Free Pantry's Quick Mix recipe? I am looking for the perfect pancake that tastes like the Bisquick pancake and still can't find one. Already tried Pam's and thought it was doughy on the inside even though the outside was dark.

    Does anyone know of a pizza product or pancake product that doesn't taste so doughy. I bought a gluten free pizza from Whole Foods yesterday but when I bit in to the crust it tasted doughy like the inside didn't cook but I cooked it long enough.     Is the only difference between the two is that those of us diagnosed with Celiac have a greater chance of having other health problems (like diabetes, cancer, thyroid problems) if we continue to eat products that contain gluten?

    I hate to cook too! I make this a lot! Chicken Breast cut in to small pieces (like the size of an oreo cookie) or in strips and you can cook them in a pan or on a iron skillet because then it's more like a fajita dish and this only take 5 minutes to cook White rice (which I know brown is better for you) Sautee some onions, red or green peppers and...

    Why not? Aren't we the ones with an underlying health condition that they are saying should get the shot. Just wondering what others think and I am sure I'm not the only one.
