  1. Yep, Skippy has soy, so I will try and find a natural p-nut butter and maybe lay off apples for a while - or just put them in my juicer so my body can digest them easier. Thanks for all of the replies!
  2. This is what I usually eat daily. Fruit smoothie in the morn. (blueberries, strawberries, banana) Eggs Snack - Apple with p-nut butter lunch - white rice with slice of cheese and turkey slices or turkey meat with tomatos and cheese or sweet potato with cottage cheese dinner is usually chicken and carrots, or chicken or steak fajita ...
  3. Are your stools normal since you have been gluten free? How long did it take? Seems like I get maybe three to four firm stools a month and the rest are soft. Not diarrhea, but soft like oatmeal. Gluten free for a year and a half.
  4. I seem to get acid reflux after eating an apple with p-nut butter on it for my morning snack. Anyone else have problems with apples? It's not all the time, just some of the time.
  5. My daughter was the same way around that age and we found out she had a problem with her thyroid.
  6. Does the Thyroid test cover Hashimoto's Disease or do you have to have a different test done to tell if you have Hashimoto's Disease?
  7. I tried making the a pizza with the frozen pizza crust they offer and it just wouldn't cook right. The dough was still very doughy even after cooking it for more than twice the recommended time!
  8. Thanks. I will check my B12 and Iron lab work when I get home to see when they were last done.
  9. It seems like ever since being diagnosed a year and a half ago there is always something new popping up. Now my Lipase is high but pancreas looks fine ANAs are off Lesion/Cyst on Liver Are these normal results for a Celiac? How do you know when to call it a day and say it's just part of our condition or is this how it's always going to be?

Has anyone else used her recently and is she worth the trip and money?
  12. I am but not consistently. I take a multi vitamin and biotin in the morning with Flax oil in my smoothie. This just started about a week and a half ago. Mostly can only feel it in the morning when I get out of bed or when I rub my hand across my feet when putting lotion on. Should I be concerned?
  13. Or is it just part of the celiac disease?

Thanks. And I guess I should have said "highly" recommended.
  15. Yay! I figure with all the other stuff I have to deal with regarding this auto immune disorder it's (Bailey's) worth the price! Thanks!
  16. Thanks. I tried Carolans and it is no where as good as Bailey's! So do you drink Bailey's? I have been but thought I would try Carolans since they say it's gluten free. I don't think I have noticed any side effects from Bailey's.
  17. Whole Foods carries it now.
  18. Good to know. Looks like Black Berry has one too.
  19. I love Buttery Nipples but still haven't figured out if Bailey's Irish Cream is Gluten Free. So far I haven't had any problems but still concerned. Anyone ever try Carolans? They say it's Gluten Free.
  20. I use Moroccan Oil too and take a Biotin supplement. My hair seems to be growing like crazy!

Is this the doctor that has been recommended on this board?
  22. I don't have cider vinegar for the recipe. Can I add something else instead or just not worry about it? Maybe on instead?
  23. I had a ct scan done and was told I have a lesion or cyst on my liver. I have been almost gluten-free for over a year but still have occasional stomach pains. I had a MRI done today and ultra sound too, so I will not have my results back until the middle of next week. My lipase blood work is high and my ANA (I think that's what it's called) is high, so we...
  24. Hi Bluebonnet, Just checking in to see how your thyroid has done for the last year since being gluten free. Thanks.
  25. Did you ever have your thyroid killed off? My daughter's doctor still wants to kill hers off. I guess as a female you can't be on the medicine for over active thyroids while having kids, so he said she needs to have it taken care of soon. Are all of these other medicine options that are being recommended safe to take while having kids?
