  1. Never seen a peanut butter with gluten. Peanuts are not grown near wheat as they need different climates. Perhaps it is too fatty for you right now? or maybe you have a problem with legumes? I use Skippy usually.
  2. Maybe its not Celiac but your awful diet? Try to eat better - less fried & fatty stuff, add a vegetable or some fruits that aren't fried or sauced or cheese covered? The lack of fiber in your diet and excess fat are hard on your intestines.
  3. They cook & marinate the food with the gluten-free soy sauce (San-J Tamari), so there is soy in it. This is from the website. Doesn't mention MSG. But in the frozen food section they say no MSG in those products so I'm thinking there is probably none in the restaruant food. "All Gluten Free items are served on a special plate with the P.F. Chang...
  4. I have eaten at 3 different PF Changs and always had good luck. Anything is possible when someone else fixes your food. Is she intolerant to something else that might be in the dishes? Soy? Egg?
  5. When I read the responses - some make it because they can't find a soy free one where they live or an egg free one they like. Has nothing to do with gluten. Just thier other intolerances or allergies.
  6. What test and what are the reference ranges? The ones I have taken a 6 would be negative.
  7. I had not used this product lately but thought it was a Kraft product. I gave Mo some info so that, in the future, she could find out for herself if a product contained gluten. I thought that would be helpful to her - to teach her how to find this info for herself. I told her that Kraft is very clear about what contains gluten by labeling it in an easy...
  8. Any doctor can order the basic blood work. Open Original Shared Link
  9. The newer tests re quite reliable. Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link Is it possible to have a negative blood test, but a positive biopsy? While rare, it is possible to have a negative blood test and still have celiac disease. tTG sensitivity is approximately 98%, which means that 2% of all celiacs may have a normal tTG level. Sometimes...
  10. You have none of these? How do you know you have any kind of "intolerance"? Open Original Shared Link Tough love - I think you don't WANT to have Celiac because you can cheat and don't have to be as strict if you think you have just an " intolerance".
  11. Traveling for a lacrosse tournament - Last night - ham & cheese & spinach on canyon bakehouse San Juan bread and black pepper potato chips in the seats. Later Pinot noir , dark choc and Parmesan crisps from WF. Tonight - chicken taco salads while watching. A Go Picnic for lunch. Breakfast - 2 hard boiled eggs and strawberries. Snacks - chips...
  12. Why not get tested for Celiac before you stop eating gluten? Maybe if you had a " real" medical diagnosis, it would help you stick to the diet.
  13. He has not Ben on this forum for 3 years so you probably won't get an answer from him.
  14. First. What was so rude about asking if it was a Kraft product and telling her if it was, they will label well? I have since found out that Velveeta does appear to be gluten-free. I told her that Kraft labels clearly. Second- this conversation was over 2 years ago. Why do you want to turn it into a fight with me at this point?
  15. When you are looking for your Florida place, maybe you should get some property or a triplex for a Celiac South Complex? We can get one in Colorado for summers and skiing. Heck- Colorado would be south for those two!
  16. You don't see a lot about this because its not got much, if any, legitimate research behind it.
  17. Like I answered to your previous post - have you told your doctor this? Have you had your testosterone checked? Maybe it isn't related to gluten at all? or other health condition? Like I suggested before, perhaps you should check some reputable sites, like Mayo Clinic and see what else might be causing your issue.
  18. I think I have seen something " official" on this. I can't find it and I'm not sure if said we shouldn't have bypass or lap band. Univ of Chicago Celiac center usually answers questions. You might ask them. Open Original Shared Link
  19. Don't you have an actual diagnosis from a doc? If you have a doctor that thinks Celiac isn't real, you should get another doctor. The best way to see if you are intolerant to a food is an elimination diet and food diary. I think you should give the gluten-free diet a few more months before you try to eliminate most all foods and try them on at a time...
  20. Because you are self- diagnosed, you will hear that from doctors for the rest of your life. If they don't have an official diagnosis on record, they likely won't treat you as if you have Celiac disease.
  21. Maybe it has nothing to do with gluten? Have you told your doctor about this? Had testosterone tested? A side effect of a medication for other medical issue? Maybe google this and find some reputable sites like Mayo clinic and see what they say.
  22. I have not tried this, so I can't say if its worth any money. GMA has a free 3 month subscription. The website says they have gluten-free meal plans. Thought someone might want to try it. If you do, could you come back and tell us how it went? Open Original Shared Link "Save yourself money and calories by eating fresh and healthy. Named a “genius s...
  23. I get recipes from all over. I have gotten a few great ones lately from the TV show " The Chew". Sub gluten-free pasta or soy sauce if needed. Here's is a thread you should watch. If you see something you like, we would be happy to help you make it & give you a recipe. https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/75238-the-whats-for-dinner-tonight-chat...
  24. Sorry this is so hard. Sending positive thoughts.
  25. Bad at posting everyday so here is this week so far: Sun - grilled pork chops marinated in garlic, pepper and Worcestershire sauce, red potatoes in olive oil foil packets, salad Mon- popped tomato , turkey Ital sausage and arugula pasta Tue- through rice, chicken, Rotel, and corn in the crockpot Wed- " impossible cheeseburger pie" & salad with strawberries...
