  1. A new doctor? This one says he can't help you. Or University of Chicago Celiac Center?
  2. Open Original Shared Link Have you tried these? More like what the other teens would be eating.
  3. These are yummy Open Original Shared Link
  4. Why not tell your doc this and ask for a Celiac blood panel?
  5. Raw peanuts are very hard to digest. That is why you usually find them roasted or boiled.
  6. That is all fine but it still doesn't explain why the OP is accusing the company of poisoning him and his friend with barley.
  7. Sounds like the company doesn't want to say gluten-free because it doesn't test for it. Many companies are doing that these days.
  8. In the US, what toothpaste or mouthwash has gluten?
  9. My hub brushes and flosses and rinses and he doesn't make me sick! Unless being with your husband just makes you sick even without gluten?
  10. This thread is over 5 years old. Many posters may not still be around and active on the forum.
  11. If they give you trouble, pm ( personal message me) and I can give you some more specific help.
  12. I have never seen chicken frozen IN a broth that you would want to dry off and fry. Nor have I seen barley injected into chicken. Some chicken is injected with salt water. You can tell by looking at the sodium content. Plain chicken has about 40 units of sodium naturally. Please provide some evidence of this fact.
  13. You are in the US? Yes. They have to give you a copy of your medical record or the part you want. The only exception to this would be mental health related records that the doctor may determine that it would be detrimental to you having and adoption/ birth records that reveal the parent or adoptive parents identity. They may ask you to pay for them...
  14. Just a little advice. Call to ask for copies of your records first. They may be busy and can't just get them for you while you stand there. If the doc hasn't gone over them with you, they may actually be in a different location from the main chart if its not electronic. If they give you trouble over the phone, then go to the office and request them in...
  15. Great! Bar keepers' Friend also works well for this! It's a talc type stuff.
  16. Did it help? I feel so bad for you. I wish I lived closer so I could drive you or walk your dog or do your laundry or make you chicken soup.
  17. I have seen this discussion in the last year or so. Go back to the main forum page and use the google function in the upper right corner. It has probably been discussed in several different sub- forums, so you want to search all of them. You will want to check the ingredients for yourself, of course, but this might give you some products to look for.
  18. Wy would you let them eat your food? They can eat the gluteny food at the restaurant they wanted to go to.
  19. I eat Planters honey roasted peanuts. Sounds like you might have an issue with processed corn like corn starch?
  20. Everything I have seen says that if the Celiac is controlled with the gluten free diet, the life span is the same as anyone else. The shorter lifespans seem to be in people who were not following the gluten-free diet.
  21. Some things to consider and maybe show the doctor Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link
  22. This is getting silly. Look at her post. She doesn't say she is doing it because she has stomach issues or anything else. It's pretty obvious it's just for weight loss!
  23. I guess I should have put the other responses before mine. One was even from her hub. All laughing about how miserable she will be. She is just doing this to loose weight as she is 5'6 and now weighs 115 lbs. It would have been better if she had just said she was giving up sugary foods and bread and pasta for awhile. From her post, it seems quite clear...
