  1. Have you checked thier website? Maybe write to the company and see if they sell them in the UK.
  2. I would use it, but soon. These dates on foods seem to be a bit conservative. Unless its been kept in the garage during 100 F temps, then most things would go bad. Open it, look at it, give it a sniff. If it smells rancid or like a possum died under your porch, don't use it.
  3. I looked them up. I remember them. They don't clap, they do the deaf equivalent!
  4. When I feel sick, I have been known to watch Sponge Bob and Dora the Explorer! Silly, happy things. Or housewives of anywhere. Do real people actually act like that?
  5. Read this and have your mom do it too. Is she really just expecting you to figure it out on your own? https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/91878-newbie-info-101/

  7. You could try the google function on here. Might try googling on the whole Internet too. I'm not sure if we had any recipes or just articles about banana flour pasta. We are team 2410 Metal Mustangs ( silver cowboy hats). My older son is the lead mentor for a high school team in the town where he goes to college so he managed to extend his time in...
  8. I knew I had seen a recipe to make your own without all the chemicals. https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/76214-dry-onion-soup-mix/
  9. You would have to ask them why it's not labelled gluten-free. Could be they haven't gotten to all products. Could be they only label gluten-free on things they test. Could be this is made on the same machines as some mixes with flour in them ( like some chili seasonings, for example). Doesn't mean there is gluten in it, just means they are worried that...
  10. Here are some reasons to have an actual Celiac diagnosis: Kids in school - they don't have to be careful or excuse kids from baking, etc without an official diagnosis College dorms- most colleges require students to stay in the dorm and pay for a meal plan the first year of college. Without an official diagnosis, they do not have to give you gluten-free...
  11. Doesn't matter what I think. See what Celiac experts think: Open Original Shared Link "Why don’t you recognize tests (stool tests or otherwise) for non-celiac gluten sensitivity that are currently available through companies like Enterolab or Cyrex? We only embrace tests that have endured rigorous scientific evaluations. So far, these tests have received n...
  12. Looks like it is gluten-free by the ingredients
  13. This thread is 7 years old so these posters are not around any more. There are more current threads about this. Look under the DH section.
  14. When the kids get diagnosed, have ex talk to the doctor. If he still refuses to keep them gluten free, you may have to take him back to court for supervised visits based on his medical negligence. Hopefully, it won't come to that.
  15. I haven't tried these coconut flour ones, but her almond flour ones are very good. You might also google coconut cookies. I have seen recipes for cookies made with coconut and no flour. You may have to think a little differently about what to serve. Open Original Shared Link
  16. I like cheese or Pb or almond butter & crackers and fruit. To me that's a meal.
  17. Ask the pharmacy you got it it from for the name of the manufacturer. Sometimes they will have a phone number or email for the company.
  18. We had a few articles posted about making pasta with it.
  19. I think we will have calzones with spinach and a soft cheese like Boursin if I see it. And a " regular" Chebe focaccia moz & feta pizza.

  21. No. Barley malt is one of the things we can't have. Maybe they think its refined enough to not have much gluten? I haven't heard of that.
  22. Just at Nature's Pantry in Independence, MO and saw another type of pop tart. These come in Strawberry, blueberry, & brown sugar cinnamon. Did not buy them so I can't say how they are. Open Original Shared Link
  23. Last night we had - Dali chicken, Pepper steak, Schezuan Beef, fried rice, & egg drop soup. It was M's 17th Birthday and we went to Pf Changs! They even brought him a little gluten-free flourless choclate cake with a candle. Not sure what we are eating tonight. Too much snow left to grill outside. You ladies with the beans - Take it easy...
  24. Just an FYI - you are responding to a 9 year old thread. I don't think any of these posters have been on in years.
  25. A year or so ago, I emailed with a company that makes bio-plastic. They were using mostly soy, If I remember. They said they wouldn't use wheat. They were going to transition over to algae in the next few years.
