    I wouldn't have thought Red Robin would have flour flying about! They serve gluten-free meals that many people have good luck with. What do they do with all this flour? I would think it would be OK to work in a restaurant with the exception of bakeries, pizza parlors...places that bake with lots of flour & would have lots of it drifting & floating...

    In J's dorm, each room of 2 boys has a bathroom. It is professionally cleaned hosed out every 2 weeks. There is a drain in the middle of the floor! J chose these cute silver with glass shelves to put in the bathroom.     Yum! Shall I stop by about 7? Perhaps you could serve some pretty drinks with umbrellas? I make a sauce/salad dressing like this sauce. If you put it in a jar and shake it every once in a while, it mixes together well but gets extra hot the next day. Stir it first with a butter knife in the jar.

    Someone could slop beer in your glass, sure. Or the glass wasn't cleaned well. But the soda dispensers have sodas, water and maybe a juice or lemonade. If they squirt out a coke before your Sprite, you might have a few drops of coke in it. But beer isn't dispensed that way, so the soda should be fine. I think we sometimes just need to think about...

    Isn't awful the things they expect those college kids like J & Sophie to do? Swimming parties, beach volleyball tournies, wall climbing, mt biking, movies, etc. Poor things have no time or energy for classes & homework.

    You definetely need to have someone bring you food. its probably too late now to talk to the dietary department and quiz them well. Even then, many people still get food that is not gluten-free. I have heard of eggs served with white toast on top. The dietician saying tha was fine. Most hospitals have minimum wage people fixing & serving the food...

    In my case, I hate having to re-pack & pay for postage to mail it back. I would like to know what the ingredients were before I ordered. Also- how would your doctor know what's in the product if they don't? Honestly, do they really think we can call the doc & run a list of chemicals by him & he will even take the time to listen?

    Maybe you could get him a washcloth/hand towel with a favorite character or favorite color(they have bright orange & neon green). Wet it & put it on a plate next to his food. It could just become a habit to wipe off after he eats. Call it the "Crumby Boy Rule". No leaving the table while crumby.

    I came to this late. The one suggestion I haven't seen is to make something at home & freeze it. I have frozen portions of chili, grilled chicken, taco meat, BBQ beef, etc in a little plastic container. Put it in the cooler & it helps keep everything cold. Then microwave for dinner or for tomorrow. This will only really work if you are driving...
