  1. Have you seen Corn Thins? They won't "wrap" tho. They are like rice cakes made of corn & thinner. I like them for a sandwich. Some stores have them with the regular rice cakes. Some in the gluten-free section. I get Crunchmasters crackers at Costco (not too bad on price). My son loved to take PB on crackers for lunch. Make some double or triple...
  2. We have a Grandbaby! This is the only way I want one for about 10 years! I want to borrow them! My neighbor just had triplets, so there may be plenty of babies to go around!
  3. Is your Hub like mine? He doesn't care what it looks like, just how it tastes.
  4. They have a locator you might try. Open Original Shared Link
  5. did they blood test for iron, vit d, vit B 12? Nutritional deficiencies can cause a lot of problems and a long time without supplements (vitamin pills) to get back to normal.
  6. Takes care of crumbs, too. For in-laws I stay in the kitchen and eat at the sink.
  7. Likely if they were plain spices, they were gluten-free. If they were a packaged mix, like a chili seasoning, they might not be gluten-free. The problem with her even slicing you an apple, is that her kitchen stuff is cc'ed. The cutting board she cuts the apple on - she cut bread on this morning. Her colander that she washed the strawberries in is also...
  8. I feel you, Sherry. Working with doc's, you know that many always know more about most things than anyone else. ( joking) Many were taught that Celiacs are very thin. I saw something once where the researcher said that he thought all morbidly obese patients should be tested. He thought that the fact that we aren't getting the vitamin absorption...
  9. Would you share the name of the place and city? Might be helpful to someone else. If you don't feel comfortable, we understand.
  10. I stood in a big pet store and tried to read the ingredients on dog shampoos. Many only list the active medical chemicals. We have been using one with oats as it lists all the ingredients and helps his very dry skin. I know they aren't gluten-free oats but I'm thinking the possible amount of wheat in the shampoo is small. Hub washes him so that lessens...
  11. Yeah! And with me bad back & knees, I'll probably hurt myself and have to stay and be waited on for days ( hmmm...waited on, Patti's Mac & cheese.....) maybe weeks. Will have to fix the washer first, as I require clean towels and clothes.
  12. So I have a neighbor, who is always at home. Not friendly even tho one of my boys was friends with one of his. I heard that he works for the FBI. Some work that is done on the computer mainly. He wears black sports socks when he walks his dog past my house. Curiouser and curiouser. So I have a fee of $500 just to come to your house (airfare,...
  13. Sorry Patti about the household appliance revolt! Most disturbing! I fixed my washer and am still so full of myself. I shall be over Monday between 9 & 4. Believe we know where the interloping sock belongs. We believe it came home from a Scout campout with my boys stuff. However, it really seems in much too good of shape to be a smelly teenage...
  14. I'm afraid if message her again, she will call the police, or FBI or who ever is in charge of international cyber stalking. Thank goodness this web site never erases any old posts. I can show them we were all in this together! Think we could be cell mates?
  15. Here's an emergency plan. Because these are big cities, they probably have American hotels like Hyatt ( like Janet said). If you get in a pinch, you could always go to them for help and food.
  16. Angela never responded. If she thinks I'm odd, what kinda person puts a pee jug on the Internet?
  17. We have a black ankle style men's sock with 3 small white stripes. No one in our family has ever had any like this. Does it belong to you?
  18. Regular beer is made of: Yeast Hops Wheat ( some types) Barley ( some use very little) Rice( a few) Water Other additives for flavor If Corona is not wheat beer( I doubt it is) and uses very small amounts of barley or malt, it could test low.
  19. I see a reverse application for this "finder". My boys have gps to locate the phones but it only tells me approximately which house they are in. Using this technology from fb, it could tell me "in girls bed" " in garage beer fridge" "in basement playing video games cause they couldn't get any girls or beer"
  20. Tried to find in on da book. I couldn't find it and it's not finding me!
  21. I'm afraid to take the real age test. I' m sure I'm at least 73.
  22. I think this is only the second year of being 39. I was 29 for many years before that. Hub started feeling like a child predator, so I have to increase to 39.
