Food pantries can still provide you with things like canned fruit, juice, some have meat, PB, etc. Sometimes they may have Chex cereal (most are gluten-free and labeled gluten-free).     Buffets are really difficult to eat safely. The plain veggies are next to the corn bread ( made with wheat flour & cornmeal). Someone grabs a cornbread and the crumbs fall in the veggies. On many other examples of this type of thing. I think you have a bad cold or flu coming on.

    You can look up how to make an electrolye drink. Really most important is water and probably potassium if it's an extended time. Apple juice, grape juice ( usually has added sugar) orange juice are good replenishers. Skim chocolate milk is recommend for distance runners.     It took me to the Nutella site right to the part about the gluten-free- ness of the product. I don't trust Bubba's gluten free list.

    I was just going to say that. I was also going to say: K8, There's this cool thing called Google. Sometimes you enter "Nutella gluten free" and like magic, there is the info! (just a joke, you usually don't give your grocery list and ask us if everything is gluten-free)

    Also works like this: you can have $30 for new football gloves. Anything more, you put in the money. Can I have $40? OK, $25. A side note is that if you cannot reasonably get the gloves for less than $45, ask Dad to go look at them with you. When he sees this, he will up the amount but not for the $90 gloves. Outsmarting children can be exhausting...

    I know a kid who sometimes stays home if he can't participate because he gets frustrated. If they want to be at school, send them with something they can have. Around our neighborhood, groups of kids and a couple of parents trick or treat. So its just as important to be with your friends as to get candy. They then meet up at one house & trade candy...
