  1. I agree with Patti. I loved Flash Forward but couldn't keep track of when it was or wasn't on. Weather sounds lovely Peter. Jess- in Spain they have Castillian (sp?) as a language, too. I think most people you will see will speak English.
  2. another phrase that is muy importante: De donde es el bano?
  3. My mom who I can't believe would try it, did. She used it for arthritis and pinched nerve pain and thought it worked well.
  4. Yeah! When are you going? Habla Espanol?
  5. This is sooo true! And soo funny!
  6. Hub has a Miata he works on and adds to - my parents order special parts for him for Xmas like red hoses. He is thinking about a piece of land 1 hour south of here because it has a large heated & air conditioned garage and is next to a lake. May never see him again. J went last summer to a friend who is a professional car painter (paints only...
  7. You can have a gluten-free wake! This should make it easier at family gatherings.
  8. I've been on the iron for a few months. Are you taking it properly> Don't eat one hour before or 2 after. No other vitamins during this 3 hour period. This means drinking only water. If it bothers your stomach, a few bites of banana or apple. Absolutely no dairy in that 3 hour period. I had problems with it at first, but now I think I've gotten used...
  9. Patti - did your boys do this, too? So many of his friends have no idea how to do anything on their car or change a spark plug on a lawn mower (probably because the Dads or Moms don't either).
  10. Last summer we couldn't use the porch with all the truck parts, glues, vinyl, etc. Right now the newly painted inside door panels are drying on his top bunk in his room. The paint must dry for a week before the next paint that must dry for another week. Bought him a small folding plastic table to use instead of the porch table we eat on.
  11. Gluten happens! I'm not a Clamato fan but recently heard it has gluten. Why? (not expecting an answer - just something else to ponder). A couple of weeks ago, I picked up Hub's beer and had a drink. Both in brown bottles, was making dinner & not paying attention. I feel like I'm pushing important info out of my brain so that it can contain all the...
  12. We started around Aug 15. So I have that to look forward to. Will not let eldest son tear his truck apart and leave pieces drying for weeks on the screened porch.
  13. Hope all the Psillys and thier families made it through the day without being struck by lightning. Last day of school here. Having kids home disrupts my quiet and peaceful life.
  14. One more thing to worry about!
  15. I think the next time the recruiters call for my 17 year old son, I will tell them I have Celiac and it's genetic. Maybe it will scare them off. There is nothing wrong with military service but he would better serve the country if he finishes college first as he wants to be a mechanical engineer. Just re-read this. I am not bashing the military. We would...
  16. glucose is a type of sugar.
  17. [quote name='Jestgar' date='27 May 2010 - 03:05 PM' timestamp='1274990732' do something, it leads to more somethings to do. If you do nothing, you never have to do anything.
  18. Especially as that is a picture of us Psilly women getting together for our monthly bikini party. I believe its at my house in June?
  19. I guess you could make an apointment and cancell. That way you don't have to wait another month if you get positive blood results. I have been diagnosed as a very adult adult (only admit to over 40). But for myself, stomach/gut issues came and went my whole life (since a child). I would definitely do the endo if the blood is positive. One of my kids...
  20. Sssshhh! Don't scare the illusive male away. Hope every Psilly is keeping away from the bolts from the sky today.
  21. I am printing out the fact sheets for my doctor (follow-up tests) and the Pediatrcian for the tests for at risk family members. I'm hoping this will help.
  22. I haven't seen LOL cheese but I haven't found any with gluten ingredients yet. Might be a problem with the spreads or a flavor?
  23. Did you even go to bed? Sounded like you are too busy for something like sleep.
  24. I've been chasing after the boys, trying to get them to firm up some summer jobs. My M's school hit by lightening today. Lightning tried to get Rey schell yesterday,.....which silly is next? (ominous music)
