The Canadian Celiac Association lists soybeans as safe/allowed on the gluten-free diet. I have more trust in them than I do in about.com. -

Soy is a common allergen, listed in the FALCPA top eight. Some folks with celiac disease react badly to it, although soy intolerance is independent of celiac disease. Personally, I have no troubles with it. But you will need to figure out for yourself if you have a soy issue in addition to celiac disease. -

Swanson broths are made by Campbell's. They will clearly disclose any gluten source in the ingredient list. -

This topic is almost four years old, so I'm unsure why we are reviving it now. "Accent" is just monosodium glutamate. Why does it have a trade name? Answer: So you will associate a specific brand in your mind, and purchase that brand rather than a generic form of the same substance. Marketing 101. -

It certainly isn't something I worry about. I have never seen a documented case of gluten in wax, just wild speculation. Maybe the stores in your area don't disclose anything because there isn't anything to disclose in the first place. -

Take a deep breath. Do you chew your nails? If not, don't worry. Gluten in products that you do not eat, and which can not reasonably be expected to be ingested, should not be a concern.
