I brine whole chickens, duck, pork, etc. Sometimes my brine contains juniper berries, bay leaves, citrus zest, maple syrup, etc. But 1.5-2 hours is crazy long for chicken breasts.   7. Both ways have merits. I had to have the scope done because I simply did not believe I could have celiac. Can you say denial? At that time, I did not have obvious symptoms or feel at all eating gluten. I found out through genetic testing.   12. Wow - that is incredible considering other gluten-free breads (not nearly as good) can be up to $7.49 for a loaf or $10 at a Farmer's Market! Did you grab several to freeze? This is definitely my new favourite commercial gluten-free bread. We can get it where I live for $4.99.

  20. Amen to using up ingredients! Strawberry banana and flax muffins are one of my favourites, as is banana nut chocolate and lemon poppyseed. I have not yet tried any baking mixes but I have heard many good comments regarding Pamela's mixes.

We have no safe restaurants for a three-hour radius but I am thankful I love to cook.
