ARCHIVED Advil And Tylenol
CarolinaKip posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I've googled bboth this morning with different answers. I had to take advil for a medical biopsy yesterday. While waiting in office a full blown gluten attack starts! This morning I took some tylenol for the mild headache. I ate the same thing for lunch both days. So any ideas? Are the meds gluten-free? I know glutenfreedrugs has them both as gluten-free... -
I always ask a manager, because the cashiers don't know. Most of the managers don't either, but I explain it to them. What I ask the managers is how the salads are prepared. I have been told at most of the Chic-fil-a's that the salads have their own seperate station away from the other products. I don't get the fruit one, because I don't know if the fruit...

ARCHIVED Good Gluten Free Salad Dressings
CarolinaKip replied to Glamour's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
My favorites are Bolthouse Farms, they have so many ones, but are made with yogurt. They are labled gluten-free. Wishbone will lable gluten-free also. I love Maple Grove Farms of Vermont. Their Lime Basil is wonderful, all of their dressings are gluten-free. I'm not a fan of the Poppyseed. -
This post and replies are so sweet and amazing. I'm still dealing with others not understanding the depth of Celiac. Love the Mexican idea!

CarolinaKip replied to notme's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I have been able to take meals into certain places, but a club?? Can you call the club in advance to ask? I don't know if they would like the brought in beer, they may frown upon it. They see it as a cut in their profit. However, you may run across someone who is understanding. There are few places around me that have Redbridge on tap. I have found the more... -
ARCHIVED Having A Rough Day
CarolinaKip replied to CarolinaKip's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Thanks! I'm trying to look around my home for CC possiblities. I made a "bread" basket for my children and it has its own table away from counters. They can only use that table for making their sandwich or toast. Some days the pain gets overwhleming. My sides hurt all the time except when I first wake up. Thanks again for the hope! -
I got up with a little pain this morning and it increased as the day went on. My side hurt really bad and I have back pain. No headache right now. I cannot figure out why the increased pain. I have pain everyday, usually moderate after I eat and it grows from there. I've bought a new pot for my food etc. It gives me hope when I see it does take months to...

The only thing I can figure out is the Vitamin E??? Anyone have trouble with this? I'm finding that I am sensitive to alot! That or finally going crazy! -

Since I am new to having celiac and know I am very sensitive to CC, I get the grilled garden salad with FF honey mustard dressing. I have eaten at 4 Chic Fil A's. I had three that were great and one not so great. I am too scared to try the fries right now. Has anyone tried the carrot salad or anything else?

Anyone Else Have Raynaud's Phenomenon?
CarolinaKip replied to Mack the Knife's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I have Raynauds. I had this for three years before finding out I was Celiac. I have the most trouble with it in the winter. I have to do outside duty at my school and have to wear three pairs of gloves/two coats etc. I bought some heavy duty ones! I also have trouble with my toes sometimes if it's very cold. I have trouble with it in the summer if the air...
