  1. I'm glad to know I'm not the other paranoid one! So many people in my life at like I'm over the top, not knowing.
  2. After everything I'd been through, my endo was a breeze. I had an IV and what I call the "happy juice" I don't remember anything from the time I was given that until I woke up. When I woke up, I went back to sleep because it was the best sleep I'd had in a long time! I would think if you don't respond to the normal sedation they would go from there. This...

    ARCHIVED Subway

Even if they change gloves, they drag the bread in front of all the veggies/toppings. Any crumbs can fall into the veggies your salad is made from. I watched how they made my kids subs and I made a note to never eat at Subway.
  4. 4 Months ago, but I'm willing to have it checked again!
  5. I need some help with vitamin suggestions targetting hair loss or other suggestions. I noticed a few weeks ago losing some, but now it's breaking off and I have a noticable spot. I use Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo, Suave Aloe Vera and ginseng conditioner, Garnier Fructis fiber gum putty and suave hair spray. To my knowledge they are gluten-free or have...
  6. I know that some softlips are gluten-free, however, they have new liptints out. I didnt see any info on their site. Does anyone use these and know they are gluten-free? I have the new "sweet" tint and would love to be able to try it. Thanks!
  7. Arrowhead organic corn meal...gluten free! It has on it's bag!
  8. Thanks everyone!!!!
  9. I feel like this some days! I'm into my 6th month gluten-free and still have side pain and tummy troubles. I've gone from being in pain 24/7 to actually having a pain free morning until I eat or drink, then it's on. I've now been in some type of pain everyday for a year and I know how that can weigh you down mentally and physically. I've been gluten-free...
  10. I'm in NC and my mother made "dressing" what we call stuffing around here. Yellow cornmeal into cornbread, no sugar. She crumbled it, added celery, onion, turkey broth, salt, pepper, sage and poultry seasons then baked.
  11. Hello everyone, I've enjoyed the Thanksgiving ideas, thanks! I've found with restricting what I am eating right now, salad dressings bother me. The corn and soy. I've been searching here for salad dressings I can make myself, could you great cooks share your favorite you like to make. I really miss my salads. I'm trying to think low fat as well. Thanks...
  12. Does anyone drink the line of vitamin waters? Wondering if this would be a added boost to my diet.
  13. I think Samis was trying to get a gluten-free place, but the Sami bread I find reads on the back "may contain trace amounts of gluten" I was eating this when I first went gluten-free and had a terrible weekend! Does the bread you have actually have gluten-free on it? My dietition said this company has had CC problems in the past and not to eat it.
  14. After going free of alot of things including soy, I'm still having pain when I eat and bloat. I went for a follow up and he had just come back from a big gastro conference and had a seminar about small bowel bacteria overgrowth. That often gastros will through out IBS when it could be SBO. So, it seems my symptoms are in line with this. Anyone out there go...
  15. I'm going into my sixth month gluten-free. Keep a food diary to see what foods may be bothering you. I noticed brown rice at first. I also thought my lipgloss was safe, but found out it had wheatgerm oil in it this month. Don't trust a salespersons word for it, research it yourself. Look for CC in your own home if you have gluten eaters. Make sure you have...
  16. I was told not to try gluten-free oats until after being a year on a gluten-free diet. When I was told I had IBS I had a big bowl of oatmeal one day. It was one of the most painful days ever! I don't think I will try the gluten-free even at my year of gluten-free. I can live without the oats....After being in pain for 11 months, it's not worth it. Hate you...
  17. I bought some afterglow liploss and was having a very mild pain day yesterday until I put it on. Within an hour my sides were killing me. I didn't have my pc last night, so I'm going to look to see if there is anything I'm reacting to. Thanks!
  18. Hello everyone! After I found out my lipgloss had wheatgerm oil in it, I stopped all lip products and feel much better. A fellow celiac told me she uses mineral oil on her lips, but I'd love some color! Any help is appreciated. I'm now also going soy free.
  19. If it brings you gluten-free beer?! That's a positive ha ha
  20. I read this also. The article mentions celiac in the last paragraph. It talks about wheat allergy and why some people "think" they need to be gluten-free. Then it was like..BTW some people have Celiac. At least that is what I took from the article.
  21. My first as well. It will be at my sisters house and we are working together to make sure the turkey will be gluten-free. I plan on making two sides that are gluten-free and bring some other things gluten-free for me. I'll take my portion out at home to avoid CC there. I'm making a crustless pumkin pie for myself as well. She is understanding and knows on...
  22. I've yet to eat at an Outback, been too afraid! I know it depends on who is the server and cooker...
  23. Has anyone tried the CeraVe facial lotion or face wash? I'm using the cream for my hands and body right now. It looks safe, but thought I'd put it out there. Also, can anyone share some specific lipgloss that you use. I know almay has one, but it has almond in it. Thanks!
  24. Yes, chicken and chocolate both bother me. I was eating jasmine rice and did wash it. I'd like to eat more fruit, but afraid too right now. When I have low pain, I dont want to chance it.
