  1. Kraft will disclose gluten and or shared. Planters is a brand to trust. Or am I wrong??? Nut gluten-free eaters??
  2. When I could eat nuts etc, I trusted Planters by Kraft. They will list any gluten, soy etc. They have some natural nuts that list just the nut itself and salt. The natural cashews are awesome!
  3. Keep a food diary, that will help. Get food allergy tested also. My biggest problem has been corn, nuts, tomato and all other grains! Don't over do the gluten-free replacement foods. Give your body time to heal. When I went totally corn free I felt almost human again, you may want to give it a try!
  4. You may try Sephora online, I think their customer service is better than in store for gluten-free product knowledge. Just my experience.
  5. The Sephora I go to, the employees do not know much about gluten-free. They could tell me a baby line that is marked gluten-free on it, but other than that, they didn't know which products were or were not gluten-free. I did tried the Korres Evening primrose eye cream, which only states wheat free on the box, not gluten-free. They gave me a sample to try...
  6. Would the modified starch be corn??? That's what I'm thinking. I have terrible reactions to any type of corn. I did not eat ham this year because I could not find one that did not have some type of corn in it. Even hard candy, salad dressings etc make my sides hurt and I bloat!
  7. I made the Sweet Chicken Bacon Wraps for Christmas Eve as well. My family loved them! I made a few for me with just brown sugar as I'm avoiding all chili's peppers etc. I enjoyed them. Now I'm trying to find something to make for New years with all my restrictions. The wrapping did take some time, but I agree worth it
  8. Thank you both!! I'll look into the others you mentioned!
  9. I'm interested in the Wen haircare system. I emailed them and will let you know if I get a response.... Has anyone else emailed them?
  10. I was a hardcore pepsi max drinker! I left all that behind to be bloat free! It was difficult to do so, but I've gone free on many things to be pain and bloat free! It's gluten-free and if you can drink, enjoy!
  11. My DR didn't warn me of anything. My dietition did warn me to change my toaster and strainer. I chose to change my dishes, pots, panson myown.Id been in severe pain for a year and was desperate! I'm 7 months in and have found things along the way that bothered me. At 4 months or so I found out my lipgloss had wheatgerm oil in it and I was told it was gluten...
  12. I mix greenbeans with progresso mushroom soup(thicken it with cornstarch), Hormel bacon bits, cheddar cheese(white and yellow), some crushed Funyuns and save some for the top. I add them the last 5 minutes. I like mine extra cheesy!! At Thanksgiving my gluten eating family loved it. I don't eat it often as I'm being corn free etc, but made is a special treat...
  13. I haven't seen the gluten-free Betty Crocker devils food mix!! I only have yellow and chocolate in my area. I'm still waiting for the Synders pretles. Great idea about the yellow cake mix!

  16. My pharmacy is good about checking for me gluten-free drugs, however....when checking for a generic drug, it is much harder. One company actually told them they were reasonible sure it didn't have gluten. I asked the pharmacist, "would you give a drug to a diabetic if the drug company said I'm reasonible sure it's sugar free"!!!!!!! same thibng! No..I passed...
  17. Could you be having a reaction to corn? I know I felt really bad when eating things with corn syrup! Going totally corn free made my bloat and pain level go down. I hate not having my Christmas candy canes..but it's been so worth it!
  18. You can search for old post for gluten-free things listed you need to watch out for, but the best way is to call the company of your favorite things. Do away with the gluten things and search for the gluten-free ones! Good luck. I had to give up my Estee lauder..it all contained gluten.

  20. I react to cleaners, even if they are gluten free. I react to chemicals! I wear gloves when cleaning and have my children do some of it. I hurt after using certain cleaners, whether they have gluten or not.
  21. I've been looking for something that is dairy free, gluten-free, and corn free for my coffee. I don't drink it everyday, but enjoy it every now and then. I've been avoiding soy whenever I can and I cannot do almond milk. Coconut? I'm not sure if that's a problem for me or not. Anything else?
  22. Does anyone use Patene products with no problems? I used to and switched to what I believe to be gluten-free. I have been itchy since then plus my hair is breaking off etc. Going to DR about that also.
  23. I went "corn free", but continued eating hard candy etc. I finally cut out all forms of corn and I've had a few days of feeling like a human again! Why was I so stubborn? I feel like I've given up just about everything, but to feel like this, I will give up corn and all forms of it. I still have some discomfort, but I'm pinpointing it. I have a question to...
  24. I got nailed with lipgloss with wheatgerm oil, but was told it was gluten-free orginally! Always look for yourself. It's a learning experience : ) the longer gluten-free the more we know.
