  1. I've been watching oxalates and some with the fructose as well. Some days low pain others high pain. He is also watching my gallbl;adder.
  2. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and replies! I'm going to look at cutting out more things and eating very simply. I know it takes time, so I'm not going to worry about refactory just yet. I found my little bit of gluten today! My ZuZu lipgloss has wheatgerm oil in it. I was told the entire line was gluten-free, but when I picked up the info sheet today...
  3. So back to the doctor because I'm still in so much pain. He is testing me for refactory celiac, kinda scary! He is checking out my liver and thyroid as well, plus other blood test. Is anyone refactory here? I hear it is rare, but I know I'm extreme with being gluten-free and my products. 5 months in and my brain fog is gone, but not other symptoms. I have...
  4. I've given up alot of foods now! I'm the same way and eat very little now to help the bloat, gas and pain. Sometimes I wake up bloated or get bloated by just drinking water in the morning. I'm gluten-free going on my fifth month. I'm so OCD about gluten that I wear gloves for everything..hand washing etc...I'm actually getting to see the real gastro tomorrow...
  5. Part of me would want to go, but for now I'm still feeling left out. I'm new to this and when I have to bring my food or do without when others are eating I feel left out. My entire grade level plus teachers made mini pizzas Friday at school. I felt so left out as everyone was eating : ( Plus I almost freaked being around so much gluten. I would want to be...
  6. I've been asked out for breakfast, how do I attempt this? Any ideas? I've only been to pfChangs and Chic fil A since going gluten-free. I'm at a loss right now. I have some chains around me and not sure how to order or if it will be too much of a chance. They are letting me pick the place and I really don't trust fast food at all. Any help is much appreciated...
  7. I'll have to see if this in my area thanks!
  8. You can get Greens at Healthy Home Market 2707 S. Blvd. They also carry a Brand called Grist. I like Greens.
  9. I'm going into my fifth month gluten-free and still have days of great pain. Side paain and pain in the lower middle of my back.I don't eat breakfast anymore to limit the pain and bloating. I have just a few foods as well. I seem to be able to eat jasmine rice, cauliflower, green frozen peas, fish and shrimp with low pain. I am now having a difficult time...
  10. I was out of my school room this afternoon. I have been going to another room for the last couple of fridays while another teacher joins mine. Today I walk in and the teacher is eating from a bag of crackers at my desk and has them on it. I stopped in my tracks. I was quiet, but freaking out in my mind. How many Fridays has she done this? The children have...
  11. I have more bloat and gas going gluten-free more than ever. nightshade free, corn free, and low oxalate diet, dairy free. Still have the bad bloat everyday. No caffine or soft drinks. Hoping I can figure it out soon.
  12. I would look at caffine as something you need to avoid and look at low oxalate diet. I've had to give up coffee and my earl grey. I know I'm not glutened, but have bad bloating and cramps when drinking these. One day I hope to have them back, not sure if it is possible.
  13. I enjoy pfChangs a lot. My daughter and I went for her birthday. I usually go at 2 or 4 in the afternoon. The waiter asked if anyone had food allergies right up front. He's been the best one I've had yet! He was very careful and also brought out the fortune cookie. He told me I could not eat it, but wanted me to read my message. My daughter opened it for...
  14. Fried shrimp and hushpuppies, although now I wish I had gone to paneras or my fav mexican place! Papa johns perhaps.. Those are what I miss right now. However, going gluten-free has made a big difference..not trying to figure out other intolerances.
  15. My thoughts and heart go out to you! I lost a baby before I had my son and daughter....((((((Hugs)))))
  16. I've eaten 3 types of lundberg chips and got cramps etc. I switched to riceworks and they bothered me as well, I found out brown rice really gives me cramps and bloating. Brown rice is in a lot of gluten-free foods.
  17. I want to thank everyone first that helped me in my "bloating" topic! I am now eating low oxalate(thanks Skylark)! I went to a strict diet and my bloating is better. I was wondering if any of you are eating low oxalate and have any recipes to share. Thanks!
  18. I use a heating pad on my stomach to help with cramping and throbbing pain. Not sure if meds would help
  19. I have my own mustard, it's French's. I didn't use mayo because it has potato starch in it. I think I CC myself. I didn't clean the kitchen after gluten eaters before I fixed lunch...my fault. Thought I was being careful. I'm kinda mad at myself, I know better. I'm going to make my kids go gluten-free. I believe my son has celiac, he hurts after eating. He...
  20. Hey guys, I ate starkist tuna for the first time since going gluten-free. It had water and tuna listed. I feel like crap! cramps, bad side pain, fuzzy head. I had it with and mustard. I assumed the tuna was safe?? I'm thinking I CC myself a little own my own. I'm looking to make my home gluten-free.I hurt with everthing whether mild to severe. It's getting...
  21. I lived off of gas meds and acid blocking meds for years due to beginning told I had acid reflux. When I went gluten-free I stopped taking any med. This will go on my list to ask the gastro next month. I'm hoping he will take me seriously. I feel better gluten-free, but would love to have a totally bloat and pain free day. I have no idea what to eat anymore...
  22. I was a hardcore pepsi max girl. I gave it up because of the carbonation. I gave up coffee too. I can drink earl grey tea semi okay. It could be the bubbles that bother you.... Although there isn't anything in pepsi thats healthy.
  23. Thanks everyone. I know I'm super sensitive. I dont feel glutened, just side pain, tummy buring and bloat. I feel a little better today, but want to eat some veggies and fruit. Before going gluten-free, I ate so healthy. Salads every day with veggies/fruit/lean meat. I miss that! I rarely ate cookies etc. I ate wheat bread and oatmeal/w honey every morning...
  24. I had earl grey tea which is usually okay, Turkey meat 99% fat free with McComick garlic powder, fresh mushrooms, rice noodles, gluten-free soy sauce. gluten-free soy sauce I have had on a low pain day and it seems fine. And the cooked spinach. I've had the rice noodles on a semi low pain day. I'm very paranoid about the gluten-free, that I wear food gloves...
  25. Okay guys, I added some plain cooked spinach for lunch and my sides and tummy hurt bad! I'm trying to find a veggie that I can eat, any ideas? I really want to try a salad, but don't want to be this way two days in a row.
