  3. I would like to add one more thing: Why almost every autistic child is put on gluten and casein free diet? It appears that they do better on it. There is some controversy about it, but I met one woman not to long ago in the Whole food whose naturopath suggested this diet for her son and she was willing to try it. Even you know one popular celebrity whose...
  4. Hi! I would like to ask why is my content limited from today to just 38 posts? I can't find my posts from the beginnig. I was looking for some recipes that I had posted, but averything is gone. Did I do something wrong? Why are my posts being restricted? I told my friend to check my profil because she can find there some recipes of mine that are very good...
  5. I found more recipes that are easy and very good. If you can't have something, just replace it with the similar thing, or ask me. I will help you with different option. https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/83388-gluten-and-casein-free-shredded-tofu-cake/?p=718692&fromsearch=1 https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/80447-here-is-the-cake-that-i-promised...
  6. Once I didn't have powdered sugar, so I tried to make one. I used my Ultimate chopper for that. That little chopper made superfine powdered sugar. Later I tried to do that with the Montel Williams Health master. Same results- very fine. If you have something similar at home, you can try again. In this cake you don't really have to have supper fine powdered...
  7. If you can have coconut, you can probably substitute rice flour for buckwheat flour. https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/89907-gluten-and-casein-free-coconut-cake-with-chocolate-filling/ You can divide the dough in half, bake it in a round baking pan to make a birthday cake. You can also double the filling to have more for decorating. You can use any fruit...
  8. When the site changed I found out that some amounts are missing, so here they are: Ingredients: Dough: 7 egg whites from extra large eggs 3 cups unsweetened coconut flakes 3/4 cup white rice flour 2 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  9. Hi! If you like, check my old posts. I have same thing as you. Soon I will eat something in the morning, I will have brain fog, I can't think clearly, I'm dizzy, etc. I saw many doctors, had many tests and extensive blood works with negative results. Doctors excluded everything and were puzzled by my symptoms. Then I saw one doctor at Columbia University...
  10. I'm just puzzled with something. Before I went on gluten free and casein free diet, I was able to eat anything. I had allergy to nuts, honey and kiwi, but everything was ok. I had some mild bloating, but never to the point of crying in bed for 2-3 hours like on gluten-free and CF diet. Fresh salad is out of the question even now. And I don't know why. Can...
  11. If you go to a GI doctor and ask him to test you for SIBO, tell him to check for methane too. My doctor did and to her surprise I was negative on hydrogen, but very high positive on methane. If my doctor wouldn't check methane, I wouldn't be even treated for SIBO. Open Original Shared Link
  12. Check this: https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/99115-can-food-intolerances-be-just-bacteria-overgrowth-in-the-small-intestines/ Maybe it will help you in some way.
  13. I would like to share something interesting that happened to me. Maybe this story would help somebody that can’t eat food because everything is making you sick. I’m 2,5 years gluten free and little less casein free. I’m eating always home, cooking my own meals and eating 95% whole food diet. I had SIBO twice during that time. I had a positive breathing hydro...
  14. I just called them. The person didn't even knew what I'm talking about, so I told them I have allergy to wheat. She didn't knew, so she asked her manager. After wail she gave me the answer that it is gluten free. So I think, it is safe.
  15. Does anybody know, if strawberries from this company are gluten free? http://www.berries.c...&NETWORK=google I just receive a box of them. I can't have them because I have allergy to milk, but my husband can eat them, if they are safe ....
  16. I meant to say arrowroot too. I don't know how, or why I thought about amaranth flour. Sorry
  17. I don't know about the store bought pierogies, but I can maybe help you with my recipe. I'm from Slovakia, country under Poland, so pierogies are very important in my family. http://www.celiac.co...-roasted-onion/ if you need, add more rice flour, 2 Tbsp. at the time. The size of eggs can make the dough moister than needed. I made this recipe many times...
  18. Another starch that I have been using instead of potato,or corn starch is amaranth flour- starch.
  19. Others might have different ideas, but this sounds to me like postprandial hypotention. I have it. Check this out: Open Original Shared Link Low blood pressure after eating (postprandial hypotension). Postprandial hypotension is a sudden drop in blood pressure after eating. It affects mostly older adults. Just as gravity pulls blood to your feet when...
  20. I can tell you what had worked for me: magnesium supplements - magnesium oxide 400mg once a day, or cut the pill in half and take it twice a day. Then water, drink 1 bottle of plain water at once, or in 15 minutes wice per day, and take probiotics with bifidum - Alive Or. Nature Bounty Chewable probiotics Acidophilus with bifidum- two wafers 2-3 times a...
  21. I think that I'm the only one here who likes to bake with Bobs Red Mill flours. Check my recipes: http://www.celiac.co...__1#entry734848 http://www.celiac.co...__1#entry718692 http://www.celiac.co...__1#entry695015 http://www.celiac.co...__1#entry725111 As you can see, I have been using Bob's bread mix, but in the last recipe you can use the all...
  22. I had and still have on an occasion this: Open Original Shared Link , even on a gluten free diet. I'm taking Nexium for it.
  23. I had the same problem as you guys, but in my case the gluten free diet wasn't to blame. It was milk and milk products. I learned that I have problem with casein, milk protein and I'm casein free for more then 2 years now and my face is clean. I have also watched The Doctors where a dermatologist talked about avoiding milk. The reason is hormones that cows...
  24. I personally don't understand why people don't wash the meat in the USA. When workers in a meat company cut and clean chicken, they will use the same gloves, table and knife over and over. When you pull the intestines out of the chicken, what is inside (poop) can burst in the cavity, or on the table. Chickens are fed with wheat or rye- which means gluten...
  25. I don't, but I will wash dishes longer then usual. First I will wash it with sponge, then with my hand - I want to feel it, if I got everything. If not, I will take wire sponge (stronger then Brillo pads and without powder) and scrape everything down and then rinse everything very good with water. I didn't have elevated antibodies, but my husband did and...
