  1. Spirit walk You and I have talked before and I am sorry to hear you are still struggling. The joints popping is an issue for an orthopedic doctor, IMO I have no idea why you would ever entertain the idea of chelation therapy. This is not a good idea at all. It is an unproven theory that "chelation therapy can effectively treat problems" other...

  3. ?? But no celiac should ever eat a hamburger removed from a bun.
  4. transferrin and TIBC are high and %saturation are low. Hemoglobin and hematocrit are normal but hematocrit is at the very low end of the range. is what I read. Again, we cannot see the lab results or the lab reference ranges, so I can't really speak to the iron deficiency if these numbers are not all taken in consideration together. hemoglobin...
  5. A friend just sent me these, with apologies... I said, I know a few peeps who will like them.... 1. The fattest knight at King Arthur's round table was Sir Cumference. He acquired his size from too much pi. 2. I thought I saw an eye - doctor on an Alaskan island, but it turned out to be an optical Aleutian. 3. She was only a whisky - maker...
  6. People without celiac can have iron deficiency anemia. My friend Elaine has anemia and it's not from celiac. It's a hereditary condition in her case. From what you have posted, your levels are in range, so it does not look like a problem, but bring your results to a hematologist. Open Original Shared Link
  7. Techs are not allowed to say much, so do not take that as anything "bad". My first DEXA was indicative of osteopenia. You know my history, so you can imagine how long calcium was being leeched from my bones. 2 years later, and my bone density had improved. You need the right amount of calcium, magnesium and D--not just from supplements but from...

  17. We've got a dual- anality (I think I just made that word up) thing going on here. J and I both have "kits". We now live where you must keep a "disaster kit" for hurricane season. Being a celiac requires advance thinking for travel anyway, so I've got a "got-to" bag anyway, so I just added to it a bit. His has bottled water, tools, duct tape, batteries...

  19. After 2 doses of antibiotics, your gut is a mess of unbalanced gut flora. Please be sure to take probiotics. Honestly, it may be part of the reason you're still messed up.
  20. Q: What was the name of the hair salon next to the graveyard? A: "Curl Up and Dye."
  21. I would have said about the same thing as Ski (because at times we seem to share a brain) so I'll just add a HUG, a "chin up, sweetie' and and a hang in there-- it does get better. Something you said caught my attention: H. pylori infection. How as that treated?? My dad had this and I know a little about how rascally it can be. Just want to be sure...
