I'll see if my guy is willing to let us clone him. Personally, I think that COLLECTIVELY, we know more than they do about Gluten and Celiac and the associated conditions. IMHO
  3. This must be why the online sources of BioSil are sold out. Seriously, try finding it! Word of mouth from satisfied customers has made it nearly impossible to find. The celiacs are all buying up the bottles.
  4. Same rolling eyeballs I get whenever I even mention WHY a gluten free diet and some probiotics might help someone? Why don't they believe us? Simple. Not enough awareness of how inflammation creates illness. This is why I make it my personal mission to educate the masses!! Converting the gluten intolerants, one person at a time. This...
  5. I am only afraid of things I can't squish to death or outrun. Otherwise, I am a live and let live kind of girl. We have all kinds of oogey things here in the countryside (and I grew up in the city and never even saw half this stuff in my life!) and I have had to pick up---and put back outside--- birds, mice, chipmunks, bugs of all sorts, a frog...

....alas, they are as rare as that perfect squishy loaf of gluten-free french bread. Excellent poem, Ms. Bart!
  7. I agree. This was my experience. It just took time, but now, I have no need for them--or for any GI-distress type med/supplements--at all. My Mom --same experience.
  8. Spices --McCormick's are gluten free---just READ the labels. And quinoa is gluten-free, too.
  9. That's only because your brain is frozen, kiddo. Time for warmer climes?
  10. They are gluten-free, hon. Give yourself some time. Healing does not always happen within a week or so. Best wishes, IH
  11. I hear ya! But I was hoping that next generation (i.e. my niece and nephews and their little ones) would listen to me. I have no children of my own (thanks, Celiac ) and I have a huge extended family --all of whom have various AI diseases and assorted GI issues. Ah well, you can lead that horse to water... but you can't hold his head under
  12. Really? Where did you read this? I would love to see the research. Thanks! IH
  13. ooooo....gee,....not really selling us on this, sweetie... .....would you consider a mail order business for your delicious goodies?? I mean, you've goy the flash- frozen step covered...
  14. and flash freeze our lungs so they shatter into a bazillion pieces like glass? ah...I'm thinking we're all gonna say....no? maybe in the Spring?
  15. Karen provided you the links to the threads that have lists, but I highly recommend Merrick's BG (before grains) for pets. Our cat's fur is luxurious and she is very healthy ---and she was a sickly mess when she came to us. If I could stand it, I'd eat it, too--- and have a nice full head of hair.
  16. You mean, it's so cold, the lawyers have their hands in their own pockets? it's okay for me to say that... I was married to one once and almost became one myself)
  17. I KNEW you would find one, J
  18. I wish I could introduce you to my sister. Sadly, she would prefer to follow the doctor's advice and control all of her various AI diseases through medications. She watched me go downhill for 3 years and almost die from celiac disease, yet it is not enough to persuade her to even be tested. I said "At least mention it to your doctor that I have celiac...
  19. That's exactly it in a nutshell, D! And lack of encouragement from the AMA. Heaven forbid we should actually HEAL people and get them out of misery and out of their offices. No $$$ in that! The nurse/LMT I see 2X a week who gives me nueromuscular massages and physical therapy to help me get my muscles and strength back? Well, she has dozens of...
  20. My dog, Gracie would never have stood patiently for that kind of thing---she was a food guzzler. She came running if she heard me open the fridge or when I started chopping and dicing for dinner. I always had a rapt audience when I cooked. She, the 2 cats (and hubs, too)---all staring at me, waiting for something to come flying their way....it was kind of...
  21. All right, you temptress, knock it off!! I gain weight just reading your darn posts and the drooling on the keyboard??.. well, that's just soooo attractive and classy
  22. It's 33 and the wind is whipping around like mad. Whoops, there goes the bird feeders.......is that a cow flying by??? be right back..........okay, that was insane out there! BRRR It's so breezy, even my cat, the whackadoodle who likes to be outside no matter what, just came in and said "man, it's too windy even for ME" and promptly fell asleep...
  23. Wow, you're so good --how'd you keep from sarcastically saying, "Well, they should!"?? As for the silly question about gluten....OY! You're a diligent Mom and kuddos to you for keeping your daughter safe! One company that answers questions quickly about meds is TEVA pharmaceuticals. I had to take a med post surgery briefly --and they answered...
  24. Bundle up, Jess! and please, for the love of mike!... don't send it EAST... we're having a Bizarrely dry winter for a change.
  25. Yeah, Syl--what say you?? Take the ridiculously freezing cold for some good eats??
