  2. Karen's right. (she likes when I say that ) No worries about the blue cheese. I eat blue cheese all the time. I don't live in Europe (but I wish I did LOL) We're giving it to you straight....It is not likely the blue cheese, honest. Hon, here's the thing....with a new diagnosis of celiac, your gut is ravaged right now. Before you start healing...
  3. Took me a while to catch on to the morning coffee lesson, then if I cruised by later on the day, I'd get caught with the cocktail spit. This can be done without causing a fight. You just need a little space for your things. You know best how to handle it, but many people on here co-exist with...
  6. Hi Christy! It can be very overwhelming at first, but you sound as if you are figuring it all out very quickly. We can be your cheerleaders! As for the tests vs.kitchen appliance dilemma, I would most definitely spend the money on the VitaMix (although I suspect 600 washings in vinegar did the trick ) New kitchen appliances are probably more useful...

  10. This is for the rest of your life. You need your own toaster. They cost 7 bucks at walmart's. Toast it bags cost a lot more. Your MIL better get used to you needing some things that are YOURS--safe and totally dedicated, hon. And she better not do anything to put your life in danger. You cannot afford to keep glutening yourself through cc and living in...
  11. 12.5 inches in 3 weeks... you know you put this dinner idea on the garden thread, right, sweets? (or maybe you did that on purpose, in which case, I should mind my own darn business ) Love2 has done this before too and I think it is because we are all on both threads. so...how were the cupcakes? please tell me in detail, because I am bored...

  17. I read a story once where the woman clunked her hubs over the head with a leg of lamb, killing him instantly. She cooked it up and served it to the investigating officers who promptly ate the evidence. I found that disturbingly clever (and once thought about using that plan years ago.....but decided I should just get a divorce instead.) anyhoo The...

  21. DF means dairy free (you may see that a lot on this site ) You want a probiotic that has multi-strains of "good guy" bacteria because there are many that live in our gut and we want to replenish them. They all have different jobs. For example, Lactobacillus GG is good for diarrhea. Like this one-- Culturelle: Open Original Shared Link ...
