  2. hello all, I have been gluten free since March of this year. My symptoms have always been fatigue, body ache, nausea, brain fog. Since being gluten-free after 3 months, I have now had these awful bouts of vomiting. Just all is a sudden I will get nauseous like someone punched me in the stomach and then I hit the floor running to the bathroom as fast as I...
  3. You know something I have done is put my meal in the crockpot at night before I go to bed. When I get up in the morning it is done and I put it in the frig and just heat it up at dinner time. I like doing that better then getting up early
  4. I don't have any problems with it. It is dairy, lactose, casein, soy and gluten free. Taste like american cheese not cheddar, but it better then nothing when you need cheese. Best non-dairy cheese I have found as far as taste and melting.
  5. I follow a gluten free, vegan diet. I will take La Victoria wraps with hummus and veggie, Brown rice cakes with a nut butter and banana, Veggie salad with almonds for protein, Brown rice with veggie in a to go container. Ezekiel makes a gluten free English muffin that is good and I will take that with nut butter. Also, I like Schar sandwich bread and rolls...
  6. Wow, so sorry your little one is going through that. I am a early childhood teacher and the thing I always recommend to my parents is to call the children's hospital which it 2 hours away from our small town. They deal with children 24/7. I would look for the nearest children's hospital and start there. Good luck to you.
  7. Thank you for this post! I haven't been feeling well and I had just used that mix this past weekend. This might be why!........Here is my favorite cookie recipe if you can have peanut butter, chunky or smooth works. Don't use the refrigerator kind. I buy Smart Balance because it has the omega 3 in it. 1 cup of peanut butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup...

  9. No there was some change, I wasn't as tired and I still had brain fog but no headache. It was because I was feel a little better that made me look at everything....Also it was a couple of weeks before the fog lifted. All the best to you. I hope you figure it out. I am a believer that diet can change your health for the better....I also stopped eating beef...

  11. PF Changs is IN the Westlake center. Ate there last week. Very good!
  12. I Had gone through something similar. I was eating gluten free and not feeling better. I was going to give up but I decided I need to make sure I was doing things right. I found out that I had gluten in my lip gloss, shampoo, makeup and thinks like mouthwash had a cross contamination issue. I found other things that had a possible contamination. SO after...
  13. I have it too but was not aware it might be a symptom to Celiac D.
  14. I did that before.....so sorry! hope your reactions isn't to bad. I had to start asking my husband to make his own sandwiches because I wasn't thinking and would lick the knife. I wear gloves now so I won't lick my fingers. It helps a lot
  15. I did start to put on weight. When I was diagnosed I started trying all the gluten free snacks. I started baking gluten-free cakes to try. Eating breads. The funny thing is I wasn't eating food like this before the diagnoses but felt I needed to try foods that were out there to see what my options were. I have gotten away for gluten-free "Junk foods/snacks...
  16. I am the same way when I eat gluten. I go to bed fine and wake up feeling awful. Some times it can be 24 or 48 hours after.
  17. I buy La Tortilla Factory. They are so good! I find them at Albertson's with the regular Tortillas Heres the link Open Original Shared Link
  18. For me it can take sometimes a day or 2 to feel the effects. Tired, headache, can't move my body, nauseous. I might feel this way for about 4 days and then I start to feel better. I would not have kept eating the food once I found it had gluten in it because if the meatballs had gluten then I feel most likely the rest does too. Hopefully this will not be...
  19. I am interested in this too. I am going to a family dinner and when I talked to my aunt about hte food she thought being "that careful" was silly but said she cooks some gluten-free meals for her husband. She said she would make the gluten free dish first and them make the other things. I still don't trust it but trying to figure out how to handle it without...
  20. I changed my products and I found that the nagging headache, nauseous and head rash went away. I didn't feel %100 better until I got all the gluten out. Shampoo, makeup, lip gloss, lotion, hand soap. I am gluten free head to toe, inside and out
  21. I have 4 cats and we give them treats. I never thought to look to see what was in them! I wash my hands but I am wondering now, because of your post, if this is the reason I get nauseous sometimes. I haven't been about to figure it out!!
  22. I was having the same problem. I was using Clinique and after calling the company I found out they are not gluten free. I now use bare Minerals. I LOVE it. I did call and all their products are gluten free.
  23. I have stopped using it and all my symptoms have gone away!
  24. I miss being able to go out with my husband and run to the new doughnut shop in town or picking up a pizza on the way home, stopping at the bagel shop. I didn't realize how much of our outings revolved around food until I couldn't do it any more. The fun part though is finding new things to do and places to explore like going to the city and trying a new...
  25. Thought I would add for anyone looking. I called Clinique and there Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss is NOT gluten free it contains wheat they said. Sephora said that theirs are gluten free but are they advise not to use because of cross contamination. Also called Bare Minerals and all of their lip glosses are gluten free.
