  1. I need at least an hour before i'm... socible. My family knows not to push my buttons before that hour lol. I can't eat right off the bat either or else it tries to come back up on me.
  2. Add a little home made chicken broth to that. It adds a tad bit more to flavor and you know what they say about chicken soup, maybe that will do the same? I normally do that when i'm not feeling well.
  3. Thinking about making pancakes for dinner (as my family went out for them this morning and i've been craving them).
  4. Get yourself a blender/processer thingy (i reccomend the ninja) steam an apple, toss in, wala baby food Btw Whey is dairy.
  5. Yep, snacks. I need some ideas. I have back to back classes on monday and wedesday and i know for a fact nothing that is sold in the school store/snack bar are gluten free. Soooo do you guys have some ideas for me? If it helps any i'll be living in the dorms again (the food staff already knows of my needs due to my excellent disability councler). I was...
  6. yes, it can affect it. Go back on the gluteny stuff until you get the test done.
  7. Depends on the doctors definition of a true allergy. My grandmother i mentioned will swell, hive up, or have shock depending on the item in question she is exposed too. Intolerences are slightly different because most of the time, they do not have a hive reaction, as they tend to be more of a stomach problem
  8. Sometimes. I've had medications cause me massive allergic reactions (ie: hive covered body for over a week). This test just... gives an idea or perhaps even some advice what to stay away from.
  9. Thats when you find a doctor that knows what he/she is doing.
  10. Yeah, i know. My grandmother is living proof of that. However, my doctor said by no means should i have tomatos sooo yeah no tomatos for me (didn't like them much to begin with).
  11. Because i hadn't been feeling well and i've been as gluten free as possible. So i thought why not? Did 60 scratch test pokes (40 enviormental and 20 food). The food ones i was concerned about (both in myself and my family history) and the enviormental was reccomended since i had seasonal allergies bad. Come to find out i'm severely allergic to tomatos...
  12. the ones that are made out of bean flour cause me to bloat badly.
  13. yep, that can do that (my mother had it). However, because he has celiac in his family history, it wouldn't hurt to be checked every few years "just in case".
  14. Yes, for a biopsy to have a chance to be positive for celiacs you need to consume gluten over time, so that, if you have it, the damage will be shown:( Unfortenently, i was gluten free for 4 weeks before mine (which is the reason why i think i got a negative).
  15. All my other levels were normal, except this one. I don't take vitamins and as far as i know, what i'm eating won't affect it... so how? It came back >20 when normal is >6.... If someone could explain (as my searching has found nothing), it would be appriciated.
  16. could be your gallbladder or appindex acting upi (just to throw a new idea in the pot)
  17. Bobs bread mix makes me bloat something fierce o.O
  18. Doubtful that a company would go out and directly state that. Mars is a good brand, that does lots of cleaning and checks on their lines.
  19. Outside of what the others said about gluten, you also should find an outlet for that stress. For example, i play video games when i'm stressed. It distracts me and lets me 'calm down'.
  20. or more spacifically the milk chocolate flavor... Long story short, family bought some and was saying how good it was. I tried their website but couldn't find anything stateing the milk chocolate one....
  21. So you guys know what i'm talking about Would it be possible to make it gluten free? Basically from what i gather its a sugar cookie baked on the outside of some bread.... hmmmm... any ideas?
  22. bah, why risk it? Can't you just learn to make them at home? XD
  23. >< sounds like me. I had some damage in my throat and the biopsy was negative... and there is no way in heck my problems are just acid reflux/ibs... So i went on the gluten free diet anyway, and i've felt somewhat better than before...
  24. can you have some shipped there? That may be the easiest way.
  25. Endos aren't painfull at all. They'll put an iv in and then knock her out (they may use stronger stuff since she is a kid). She may wake up with a sore throat but thats it. That blood test is really spacific. The only other thing (as i found out from the mayo clinic website), is arthritus may cause the antibodies...
