  1. i lost 25ish before i started and am still loosing weight and not even trying :/
  2. This will drive you mad, no offense (i'm not one to be talking about this lol). However keeping thinking the food you are going to eat will get you down a path that you do not want to go on. The more you think, the more you will not want to eat... then your 'range' of foods decreases, than... well lets put it this way... you become even unsure as to why...
  3. Oh dear... that is a mess. Really the only advice i have for you is to pick up a gluten free cook book and have at it, buy ingrediants as needed. If you are worred about old food, take post it notes and place the date of the day you opened it (say a can of green beans) and that way you know how long its been in a fridge.
  4. I also heard walking alot helps things 'get moving'
  5. You could also be reacting to something else in it or perhaps even the level of the different ingrediants.
  6. Depends on how sensative you are. If you think it is affecting you, remove it and go for ones that aren't on shared lines.
  7. God,yes. Thats part of what i go through (along with severe indigestion). I increase my veggie/fruit intake and if that doesn't work i eat 4 prunes..... normally that'll get me going again.
  8. Gross? Blasphamy the one by pelamas (sp fail?) is very very good. When you can't have it, you learn to like new things. j/k
  9. omg... that is epicness.
  10. So i did as suggested, eleminated the benifiber. The burning is still there... but is less intense? Bahumbug i kind of wish it would go away quickly. Still treating with benadryl, as it seems to take the edge off, and using icepacks. I've also eliminated the possibility of it being the rice chex i eat (i didn't have it for over a week whilst the burning was...
  11. i get that as well (along with the burning from h***). As far as i know, it doesn't do long term damage.
  12. when in doubt you could always use baking soda as a tooth paste
  13. I know the feeling. My gi doc seems to think it "may" be gluten intolerency, but wants me to go back on it anyway.
  14. yes it is possible.
  15. Severe case of the flu did it to me.
  16. That pain could also be from growing as well. Of course veggies are a good idea as well as fruits (both can be made into fun shapes). There are also gluten free breads and such. Also, clacium helps with muscle cramps and such.
  17. You won't notice much of a change on the 2nd day. Far too soon. Most likely your body is trying to 'rid' itself of the remaining gluten. Or you ate something that, even tho you had it before, caused to to go off at it. For example before i went gluten free i could eat all the broccoli i wanted, afterwards i cannot due to bloating it causes. ...
  18. you're like me. I had a positive blood test (and genetic test) yet a negative biopsy. I eat gluten and my skin starts burning and i get bad acid reflux and severe constipation not to mention my skin condition goes wako and creats big cyst like sores Honestly if the biopsy comes back negative do the diet anyway, it may 'cure' you IMO doctors don...
  19. i used to be like that before i went gluten free >< It was soooo annoying. I'd have to go every half hour, and it didn't matter how much i drank... it would still happen.
  20. There are gluten free breads & peanut butter (skippy for example is gluten free). Well, think of it this way... it could be worse
  21. i think part of the problem is that you do have acid reflux (thus the acidy feeling stomach). You need to try to eat something startchy (sweet potatos/banana/etc), and to eat often. Its a pain, i know, but once you can figure out what it takes to get it under control, it'll help.
  22. wish they would do an alfedo sauce on that. -can't have tomatos-
  23. It is still up to question weather or not i have celiacs or not (acording to my GI doc). Had both the genetic and regular blood test come back positive for it, however my intestens were negative . He said if i wanted to go Gluten free, do so if it made me feel better. I haven't looked back since. However, as of late (past week or so) my burning has come...
  24. In one ear, out the other i say.
