  3. So apperently... we found out what was wrong with me (despite the celiac diagnosis). My gallbladder is only working at 5% of what it should be. This was found after i had the blood test to check it (normal), the ultrasound for it (normal), and was found with the HIDA scan (a hellish scan that makes you lay still for a hour and a half). My GI doctor wants...
  4. Yep, i had my first (and second meal) after going gluten free at a local steak house. So kind and understanding :3 Going out to eat has helped my confidence level some. :3

  8. Hun, please don't write in caps, it makes you seem like your yelling Anywho, light things, nothing heavy (steamed veggies, boiled chiken, etc.). That seems to help. Also, graze throughout the day instead of eating 3 meals. After 7 months you should see some improvement. You are most likely intolerent to something that you are eating, once you figure...

  10. I remember when i was younger we would make chex mix all the time with just the chex cereal and the seasonings.... Looking back, i shudder at the amount of salt that was on them (and the butter and what not). Any ideas for a "mild" chex mix or perhaps something just as good (has to be baked )?
  11. compaired to the gluteny ones, they're decent of course i had them before i went gluten free.
  12. The DA head at my school said she would be able to get me accomidated. I know most of the staff there, so i'm hoping that everything will be alright (can you tell i'm slightly nervous about this? lol).
  13. Are smaller schools more accomidateable for this type of thing than larger ones?
  14. To my knowledge there isn't one hun :< you may have to just do the reasearch yourself... HOWEVER! There is a book called gluten free product list 2010/2011 or something to that degree that lists all of the reasearched products that do not have gluten (it was made by a couple who got sick of calling and calling so they created a book of it for others to...
  15. Contact your schools disability office (yes, celiac is a type of disability). They will most likely be able to accomodate you in the food hall (which would take care of the need to constently go out and buy stuff). I know the feeling. I'm going into my junior year in the dorms and i was diagnosed in last spring. I contacted my schools disability office...
  16. No offense, but do you carry an epi pen on you at all times and/or a bottle of benadryl? Your little bit on the flowers got me concerned.
  17. Imo, i'd just avoid them. Arbys could have a huge CC issue with just the meat alone :< I've heard that wendys chilli is gluten free.
  18. What about cookie dough icecream? Have you made that yet? :3
  19. I think it would be better said that it effects those who have medical issues over those who don't.
  20. You could always have seals put on the back molers that would help keep away cavities... I think they do them on baby teeth.
  21. I would just send her with a wet washcloth in a zippy bag. I'm not one for the chemicles on whipes tho.
