  1. Hun no offense but what the heck are you eating? You need protien, you need vitamins, you need nutrients You may just have to keep the meat. What about veggies and rice? There are low fructose fruits and i'm sure there are some without it.
  2. The news here said it can get inside....
  3. needs more starchy stuffs i think. But i've noticed that that is common for gluten free cookies.
  4. Lol kinda hard when your allergic to the wallpaper remover stuff.
  5. what about rice? green beans? anything canned? anything frozen? seaweed?
  6. Make a gluten free area where you can just have your stuff. You'll get used to it hun, its not worth stressing yourself out mentally over. Just gotta get used to it i'm afraid.
  7. hmmm does she have seasonal allergies? That would be a cause right there. If you could list all her problems that might be related to celiac it might be helpful. From what i read, allergies can appear more freaquently after going gluten free.
  8. Its not that bad. Try ripping out wallpaper plus stuco (yes stuco) in a bedroom Gloves + awsome (from the doller store) worked well. Most of the older wallpaper we discovered water steamers were not working well on. Also outlets aren't too hard to do, once you get the hang of it.
  9. Depends on the breed. My toy poodle gets baths weekly with baby shampoo. It does well.
  10. thank you for the support. It helps I sure hope it does. I think i ate something last night that didn't agree with me and caused me to have that damn burning/numb feeling again (similar to what i had before going gluten free). I also think it was the reason i had a panic attack last night but i double checked everything (including the bbq sauce i...
  11. ah well maybe i can get that blood test redone again or something. I'm sick of being told "well the doctor said you can have it" Fyi, i was diagnosed gluten intolerent by a nurse practitioner and celiac by my GP. Hmmm.... no gluten from two one yes from the GI. Sorry, but gluten free rules out here. Can ya tell how frustrating this is? -sigh-...
  12. As a person who helped gut and redo a trialer, you need: A very good mask Ventilation (very very important) Fans Gloves (heavy duity kind) Heavy duty clothes, the kind that won't let dust in Do not move in until you have all of the sanding/cutting done. Painting and such can be done afterward.
  13. sweet potatos (not sure about these but it may work for you) carrots meat of any kind pees ? greenbeans ? etc Look at what is all natural, perhaps that would give you a good start.
  14. Hun i did my endo on tuesday. I was NOT looking foward to it, however i wanted it done to figure out what was going wrong with me. Luckly i told my nurse that preped me this and the staff did their best to try to keep me in good spirits. Fyi, mine came back negative so no idea where i'm going from here But buck up it could always be worse.
  15. There is one where they look foor the 'genetic' component of celiac i think.
  16. It could be celiac, however if you think about it this way there are much worse things than it out there. Not much will give that result. There are 3 (?) things i believe that do: Celiac, arthritis, and an issue with that type of cell. Look at it this way, celiac is controled by diet and not some sort of strange medication Keep positive!
  17. prunes are natures ah 'plumbing fixer' fruit. Can she have those?
  18. I did thats how i got my original diagnosis (and i got a letter from that). However, it is somewhat important to 'convince' my mom and grandma to accept it and also validating my original diagnosis. Right now they are all like 'if you eat a little bit it won't hurt you'. I will get a copy when i go to the doc next friday. I have to go in for an...
  19. Why would my blood tests be positive and my GI doctor just, pretty much, blow it off by saying "well most people score high on the TISSUE TRANSGLUTAMINASE AB IGA" (as a 37 no less)? My mom agrees with the doctor because he 'couldn't find any sign of it on the biopsy' and my grandmother thinks i ate too much gluteny foods before the test (more like one or...
  20. I know the feeling. My biopsy came back negative but my blood work was positive. My doctor doesn't think i have it but he also doesn't know why i would get a positive blood test i intend to go on to the next phase of testing, the one where it looks at the genetic risk (?). But unlike you i was gluten free for 4 weeks inbetween (due to orders from another...
  21. I'm not sure how many he did. I will ask when i see him on monday.
  22. I became gluten free after the blood test. Now that the doctor said that both my grandmother and mother think i should go back on gluten... and they believe every word he said. Sorry but just because you didn't see anything doesn't mean its not possibly there. If it were the case that i could go back on gluten, why the heck did i test positive on...
  23. Alright i'll try to get a hold of the actual report (i meet with him again on monday so i'm sure that i can get it then). That was my thought as well. You have about 20ft of small intestans there is a big chance of a miss right there. Also the fact that i have been gluten free for 4 weeks. I told him this and he said it should be a problem
  24. I had my endo yesterday and the GI doc called today to tell me that the biopsy was negative and that he didn't think i had celiac and that i could go back to eating everything again. I don't agree with him. Pretty much all of my symptoms coinside with Celiac as did my blood work. Yet he wants me to go back to eating gluten? He said at my consultation...
  25. Also, some water softeners require salt to be added to them (you can get that at walmart). I know ours did, and we 'refilled' it every few weeks.
