  1. please do get one. Just in case, i've seen really bad alergic reactions, not fun.
  2. Won't hurt to get tested. By the way, it is normal to lose between 40-60 hairs per day.
  3. Yeah, my theory is that gluten actually adds to the weight, so once removed your body (in theory) will become healthier and loose said gluten'd weight
  4. Eeek sounds like your allergic to nuts Have you tried seeing a dietrian?
  5. When in doubt, you could always find the local healthfood store there.
  6. Hun, you need to eat something endless cycle and all of that. Stick with all natural things: Sweet potatos Carrots Veggies in genral (all cooked, raw will kill your system trust me) Drink lots of water to 'flush' out your system. Stay away from all things processed. I understand. I have celiac and am currently experiencing something...
  7. C. General rule by me, i eat nothing that is over 3 days old.
  8. Nope, not worth the pain and suffering there after.
  9. Simple, go to the 504 plan councler or the principle. By law they are not allowed to force you do do something such as this. Under the ADA, they have to accomidate you. If that means not eating the food, so be it. (i had to take that class once, i understand fully)
  10. You cannot just go 'lite' with Celiac. Gluten will completely and utterly destroy your small intestans over time to the point where the vili will not come back leaving the body melnourished and struggleing to survive. After going off it, reactions to gluten can be worse. It can also 'show up' during a blood test due to the fact that the antibodies would...
  11. Remove milk for a while. Add sweet potatos to that list, along with carrots. See what happens.
  12. Thanks everyone I'm doubtful on the dairy, as it was one of the first things i cut out when i noticed i wasn't doing to good (along with greese and other crud like that). I went off it for about 3 or so weeks and noticed no change Nature made, i've heard of that brand, i'll look it up thanks. I had forgotten about stirfrys and such (tells...
  13. Yoplait is gluten free? I did not know that.
  14. I'd say yes she has it due to the fact of the blood test among other things. I had a high positive (39) and am going to (shiver) get an endoscopy. However, as far as i'm concerned, i have it and have adjusted my deit accordingly. It has helped with the GI issues but blah i still have some other problems (this is 2 weeks free of gluten). I also wanted...
  15. Alrighty then, i have a few questions: 1. Is it possible to have Celiac for a long time and never realizing it? My mom was thinking back on my childhood (i'm 20) and i was always small, i had one main growthspert (major one), but i still remaind small (i was wearing 2T clothing in the 2nd grade). After my major growth spert i developed a 'pot belly...
  16. Nose bleeds can be fixed, normally they are caused by veins getting to close to the inner surface of the nose. An ENT fixed my bad nosebleed problem by cartarizing it.
  17. I just use olive oil (extra virgin), its the only one that doesn't bug me.
  18. I didn't cook but my grandma did: hamburger patty with salt and pepper with a slice of cheese on top salad (letice onions cucumber) green beans It was good.
  19. Well, its easier said then done. You will have good days and bad days. Veggies can be your friend when you are in pain. There are a lot of factors and i don't think i'm the best one to try to explain it i'll leave that to more experienced members, however, when in doubt about something, don't eat it (pertaining to something that has a general lable...
  20. i'm not into a spacific group, however i do like rock/jpop/jrock. I also tend to listen to the same song on repeat for days at a time i'm just weird that way.
  21. I slowly developed it (i'm 20) Yes, body aches, stomach issues, and other such things. Sounds to me like you were low in D, which really isn't good. I can barely move when i have been glutened. I found out from a blood test, the hard way (8 doctors visits and such) Nope, i know no one else with it. Btw, to the poster above me,...
  22. Sweet potatos, you can cook them in the microwave and add a little brown sugar and vula a good meal in and of itself. Carrots with honey and cinnimon is a good treat (can do the same with sweet potatos). Carrots and peanut butter.
