    ARCHIVED Honey

I use rices lucky clover honey. It is raw and unfiltered. I buy a five lb jug for i think less then twenty dollars at sams club. It has been tested as a "true" honey. Its explained on their website.

    ARCHIVED Honey

Generally speaking, its safe. I can't remember the name of the jug i've been using. I'll look and post in a bit. I only say that because i saw someone once claiming that it was cc'd by soy or something. Of all the brands i've tried, i've never had an issue.
  3. Eh, if you had just bought them, i'd think they'd be fine.
  4. Get it to sticky rice consistancy. Go on youtube and watch some onigiri recipes. My favorite is from cookingwithdog: Be warned they use gluteny things, but you can substitute and watch how its formed.
  5. I would assume so. Stay on the gluten until after the bloodwork is over and then try the diet.
  6. Pets have allergies too if she doesn't have what the others said, i'd just keep an eye on her.
  7. No.... just no.... On a random note, due to all of this cold and snow, i have a wind/sun burn on the upper part of my face. And... there is no redness... weird huh?
  8. Allergys generally have swelling/itching/life threatening mess. Sounds like you developed a new intolerance. Back off of it for a while. Stick to meats/veggies/fruits, see if you can add some beans and nuts in.
  9. Either, doesn't matter really as long as all the ingredients are gluten free. I'd bake though cause grease and i don't get along very well.
  10. Not always. I've read articles where they have a short two sentence abstract and i've had to go into it to find the actual information.
  11. I second riceballs! those are so good
  12. Nope, you still have to read the package. Other names? If its got wheat, its gotta be disclosed. Rye is kinda obvious as its normally used in breads and bagels. Barley? This too will be labeled, generally as a malt. This is all in the US, by the way. I've yet to see gluten "hidden" in things. I always eat before i go shopping. When i don't eat and...
  13. Its always possible to get CC'd in a shared home. Are teh smoothies safe?
  14. Yeah, because it affects the tendons in the wrist, to my understanding, it travels all the way up.
  15. Nope. I live with GERD and i've never heard of any link between them and acid reflux. However it is known that they are calcification of a cyst? I believe thats what it was. No known causes from what i was able to find.
  16. Ever consider carpal tunnel? There is another one i've heard of that affects the elbow as well, can't remember what its called though.. It doesn't just occur in the wrists, it can be the whole arm.
  17. No idea what i'm going to do for dinner. Beef and rice soup maybe?
  18. If you wish to do the endo, you should be on gluten beforehand. Not being on it can possibly mess with the results.
  19. Coffee acts as a laxative sort to speak. It can also be very hard on a healing gut. There is a chance that it can be reintroduced, but i wouldn't bet on it too much. I quit tea and soda right after my dx and i haven't looked back since.
  20. Perhaps its time to revisit lion king? If i remember right, there is an explanation in that movie about all things that have their place in the "order of life" sort to speak. Thats if i'm understanding that she won't eat meat because it comes from animals. Random thought... For protien, peanut butter is pretty high in it as are other nuts. I've never...
  21. You don't necessarily have to, but you can if you do so wish.
  22. D= Diarrhea C= constipation From my understanding and experience, if you have bowl problems and it gets a little bloody and is bright red there is a very high chance that it is a hemorrhoid. You can be checked in the area by a doctor. As for the high IGG, i'd think it would be enough to look into just in case. Others on here would probably know...
