  1. Not that i'm aware of However, not sticking to the diet in the past is not a good thing at all. Since Celiac is an AI disease, sometimes others are soon to follow. While celiac can cause some neurological symptoms, that should have cleared up upon sticking to the diet (to my understanding from what other forum members have said with their own experiences...
  2. about texas roadhouse i always tell them that i'm gluten free. I don't allow them to add anything to a potato (if i have it), etc.
  3. Random idea, have you checked all of the makeup, lotions, shampoos, etc? Introduce anything new? Thats quite a period of time from the first 18 to that high number.
  4. Leftover beef cabage and noodle soup for me.
  5. You recover at the rate you recover. There is no way to really speed it up. Some people have issues with dairy while healing, others do not. More than likely is that you are still going through the withdrawl period from the Gluten.
  6. Its nice to have a snow day. This is only the second time in all of my years here. It takes a lot for my school to cancel But right now the official snow count is 5-8 inches out there. When i watched the news earlier, they said it felt like 0. And then the wind I have no doubt there are snow dunes moving about.
  7. Offically a full snow day. The roads are really bad.
  8. Snow day? Classes won't start till 10am. Partial snow day? Its a mess out there. 4-7inches so far.
  9. Yep, that would do it. Hemorrhoids can do this as well if they're really irritated.
  10. Eh, it could be worse. Ah, unless i know whats in it, i don't touch it.
  11. Nope, that one is, to my knowledge, purely genetic. There is an extinct family, i believe, in Europe (england?) that had it.
  12. Bad day, so a soup for dinner i think...
  13. Personally, i wouldn't trust them :/ Some people may rely on them, however, with testing there is always a margin of error.
  14. Craving something does not equal an intolerance. More like needing what is in them. I'm allergic to tomatos. They make my body feel like its on fire and i hived up to them during the skin test (quite largely as well). Before my allergy was found out and before the burning started, i avoided it because it gave me a rather large belly ache and i just 'didn...
  15. Mmmm, does your school have an oncampus clinic? Perhaps they can draw the blood and send it off? Might be worth looking into.
  16. You could always take a cooler with ya and throw some lunch meat, cheese, and other goodies in it.
  17. Mac and cheese was soooo goood.
  18. Eh, if you eat whole foods and a lot less of processed stuff it generally is cheaper from my experience. I love ancient harvest quinoa pasta.
  19. Making mac and cheese tonight. Stomach decided that milk stuffs was okay. At any rate, I was going to go do some food shopping today, but the wind picked up like mad and started to spit snow.
  20. French fries? do you have any other issues with potatos (or nightshades really)?
  21. ... I'm not allowed to cook anything whilst i'm sick. I decided to make pancakes this morning, right? I have to go to the store tommorow and its one of the few things i had left. I first tested to see if the eggs were still good (2 of the 3 weren't; luckily one was), mixed up the batter, and started to cook them. The first two turned out well (though...
  22. Technically, i've heard that certain foods should be avoided after removal of the gallbladder (fried?) due to "D" issues. ah, wikipedia has a bit more on it: Open Original Shared Link They say up to 20% have unexplained "D" afterwards that clears up? Huh.
  23. I'm close to 7k but i've only ever made the cake So i'm somewhat interested as well.
  24. You are going through a withdrawl period. Gluten acts like a drug, your body becomes addicted to it. So its going to pitch a fit when it doesn't have it.
