    celiac disease Bisopys are NEVER EVER negative, they are NON-POSTIVE. Theres a big difference there that docs need to learn to be clearer on. A postive biopsy is conclusive, a non-postive biopsy means that its less likly that you have celiac disease.     Mott57.. Please note, if you realy want to redo the testing, simply occasionaly eat gluten before he test is NOT enough, you will get NEGATIVE results reguardless of condtion. Most ppl would say AT LEAST 2-3 slices of bread EVERYDAY for 2-3 months. Here some info from elsewhere on this site that will help... HTH!!

    Futher reading on thier site shows them to spend a bit of time on that issue, and they even link back to Celiac.com for more information on oats and celiac disease. I wish there was a test for oat intolerance... oats are a great substitue in many places for flour!

    Dunno all I know is I used to be on BP meds, then went low carb, lost 50 pounds and stopped the meds. BP was a bit high, but in normal range till I went back on gluten... could be conicdence ... or not, duno.

    They prbly WONT do all the test, most insurance will only cover one fo the tests, one that is considered for "screening" ttIGA or somthign like that.... I cant keep them straight.

    Asa forum admin of a nother major forum, I know what kind of work goes in to this site, and I am thankfull that here at laeast some one else does it! Thanks to all that work to make this a great rescource site, its enve RECOMENDED by my son's GI doc.

    Oh and this is intreating dunno if its related or not but since going on gluten my bp been steadly going up. This time it was 142/98.

    And gave my two vilas of blood. So now Im going gluten-free agian, and wiating on the results. I hate on wiating. Did I mention that i hate waiting? Cause I realy do. Waiting stinks!!

    THis is the one I use.. Open Original Shared Link It works well and is alot cheaper then most fo the so called "required" models. I just make all the bread in "basic" mode on it, and seems work with them all so far.

    Welp... tommorow I finaly see my doc, unless for some reason they wont do the test I will be canceling my York Labs order tommorow night. I only ordered the York test to save me a week or 2 of gluten... Tommorow I get blood test, then I go gluten-free and wait on the results, though I am already fairly convinced. Ah well... was good thought at least....

    Yep, they told us there were doing this a while bakc. Posted on it then, but I am sure its way burried. Stinks cuase ti was a cheap snack that my sound would actully eat....
