  1. Hrrrrrmmm I might order this test later today. If its postive then I dont have to wait till the 21st to go gluten-free.
  2. Do you ahve epxerence with them?
  3. I also used to work in a deli, and I 115% agree with this post completely.
  4. hey thats great! But I still stick with the pre-package Ocsar Myer stuff cuase I worry about the gluten on the deli blades and etc....
  5. I just called thier 1-800 number, and got a real live person. That makes me feel a bit better about ordering. This just has the "too good to be true" sound to it, but I am tempted to try it anyways.
  6. Foud this on thier site... Pirce is $99 INCLUDING SHIPPING. Strongly considering this.
  7. We are noticing now that we are about 2 weeks out from his last gluten mistake that he is reaquring skills he seem to have lost, and making new strides foward. He has starting jumping with both feet off the ground as an exmaple. Do others notice this with their kids that Gluten seems to slow down, and sometimes reverse progress made?
  8. Way cool! If this is an at home test and the rpice is right I'll order it tommorrow!
  9. Ahhhh thats very nice of you
  10. The use of vitmans is still debated. Some say its pointless, no matter how good of a brand you get they are not as good as the real thing and are a waste of money, others disagree and say thier pet brand is the expection, and still more say all vits are equal, just marketing seperates them. They will all quote stories, or link sites, or drop names of doctors...
  11. I loved ot know the answer to this myself. All the recipes I find to "recreate" one are completly gluten-free, so I do not see why the "real" thing would not be gluten-free. My son cant have them because df the egg... but that should nto stop me!
  12. Welp been eating gluten (posion) daily now since Stepember 10th, and sporadicly in the weeks leading up to that. Been eating 2 slices of whole wheat bread+ 2 servings of Kroger Shredded Maple Bronw Sugar Mini-Wheat daily the whole time. I must say that even if the test comes back negative, Im going gluten-free. I fee as bad now as I did before going on my...
  13. Sorry to hear that! I have been working on solving the same problem and this is the recipe that I have come up with so far: Open Original Shared Link The only complaint I have to work on it its a bit heavey.
  14. How would you know?
  15. That would be WHEAT. MILKY WAY® Bar ingredients: milk chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, skim milk, chocolate, lactose, milkfat, soy lecithin, artificial flavor), corn syrup, sugar, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, skim milk, less than 2% milkfat, cocoa powder processed with alkali, lactose, malted barley, wheat flour, salt, egg whites, artificial flavor....
  16. Yes Snickers have Egg in them, Egg Whites actully. I know cause I cant let my son have them for that reason, its also clearly marked on the package "This product contians Egg" and its in the ingredirents listed as "Egg Whites".
  17. You might be alergic to RAW eggs. Some ppl are allergic to raw eggs and not cooked eggs. Sounds silly, I know, but its true acording to my son's doctors.
  18. Errrrr does not mention it on the bag I have. Nothing on it suggested gluten... although the ones I have say "Fun Size" on them, is that different?
  19. What else did you eat/drink that day? Have you tested for food allergies, esply egg?
  20. No. Skip it. I am firmly against any uneeded test. ALL test have side effects and risks, no matter how "rare", why risk it when you get no new info. Tell him to swallow the pill himself
  21. Okay... Im slighty confused here. After this new law goes in to effect, and "wheat' is forced to be labled, what does that leave for us to look for? Do we still worry about "natural flavors" and the other genric terms? So we just look for "Contains: Wheat" and then look fro Oats, Barly, and rye, and thats it?
  22. Its easy to get very angry and react accordingly in these matters, but sueing sure as heck wont help anyone, least of all the child. We had a long talk with the ppl that are incharge and we are dicusing option such as moving him in to a smaller class which would help at least at snack time with keeping him away from others foods. We are faikrly new...
  23. I am looking at the same problem , or will in a while since we plan to have another child. Dunno that there is a right answer since you can no have them tested unless you introduce gluten. If you dont do it now, the child will do it later. That is a garrentee. So you have realy only to decided the when it will happen, and if you or the child will be in control...
  24. To be fair, I dunno what makes the $200 ones worth $200, but all I know is mine works very well, no complaints. I have not tired the "express bake -58min" mode yet, and probably wont since it says "makes the curst hard and dark" and I do not think I like that. The "basic" mode is all I use. Works with all the gluten-free recipes so far.
  25. WARNING NOTE: When I was looking that up on the Delphi list, it mention that WELCHS GRAPE SODA IS NOT GLUTEN FREE. Just dont want anyone thinking "well thier grape jucie is okay so the soda prlby is..."
