    60% of celiacs with dh test negative on the celiac serum panel. This may be why you tested negative. I would agree that a dh biopsy sounds like the best route. They take it NEXT to an active lesion NOT ON one. Be sure that's how they do it or it will come back negative.

    I'm going to amend cyclinglady's comment: Science has determined that MOST celiacs can handle about 20 parts per milllion (size of a crumb) before setting off a reaction.     Many people here are still using their cast iron they had pre celiac. Yes, you put them in the oven on the clean cycle & then re-season afterward. I don't know how hot for how long so can't answer your question.
