  1. I wanted to add something but didn't have time earlier about the outbreak you saw of me in the photos in the dh photo bank. That horrid, horrid time!!!!! I have done a lot of thinking about that and have come to the conclusion that outbreak was at least in part and I believe a very large part due to a steroid backlash. Remember I said I had been getting steroid...
  2. Sorry it's taken me so long to answer. I've been swamped with work. Actually, I sort of felt like it was the other way around with me that is. I would get joint pain & then I would get blisters there. Or hand pain followed shortly by blisters on my hand. I believe it's all just a product of the inflammation going on. I know the celiac was giving me...
  3. Your link worked for me too. I believe that you could very well have dh & therefore celiac.

    ARCHIVED Lost

She stated her boyfriend is gluten free so no chance of him cc'ing her. beth01, has your glucose been checked? IOW, have they checked you for diabetes or low blood sugar? No doubt you've been researching but have you read this? Open Original Shared Link and this Open Original Shared Link I also Googled your 3 main symptoms & found this...
  5. Hi Missy. I too am so sorry you're going through all of this. I doubt it helps but almost everyone on here has been through the whole trying to get tested thing & docs who don't know what they're doing & the docs who insist you don't have celiac yet refuse to test you for it. Talk about a broken record!!!!! Over & over & over again. Celiacs...
  6. Before this temporary fix the only way I could get anywhere was to right click on the notifications to open the list in a new tab so that is how I was viewing my new notifications but I had to keep track of them (as I still do with this fix) b/c the notifications # does not change as it is not getting cleared. As far as mail and user profile, I was unable...
  7. Yup. I know that feeling. My hubs gets it like that on his hands too -- mostly on the fingers like yours. Horrid place as you can't hide it, you can't keep anything on it because it will get washed off every time you wash your hands and washing hands just seems to irritate it further. I sure like that last photo! I breathed so much easier when I saw that...
  8. In Safari fro Messenger, Notifications & my profile when I click them it takes me directly to those -- no drop down features. It's doing the same thing as you described of Chrome which I just checked & it's exactly as you described. So for me, at least those features are working but the drop downs are not. Pretty good for a temporary fix. At least...
  9. Don't worry about the photo hon. No problem - at least not to me - heck, Ive revealed more than that in photos of the rash. Do you have copies or can you get copies of the "celiac" blood tests that were done? The same with the endoscopy & lab report of the biopsy? Those would help a lot. It's quite possible you were never given the FULL celiac blood panel...
  10. I clicked the link & it still didn't work. I will say that it has been working "somewhat" --- that is to say more often than it was working before. Oh yes, the long weekend. It can put a crimp in plans every time. That's okay - I have patience.
  11. I am using Safari 7.1.6 on a Mac.
  12. How do you know the op was "run off"? Plenty of times people ask questions & then just disappear - it doesn't necessarily mean they were run off.
  13. Our Postal carriers had their annual food for families food drive recently and I donated a whole box of gluten-free foods. I do the same when our grocery store has it's annual drive. I know how it feels to be on food stamps -- been there, done that only I had no idea either of us were celiac then. I can't imagine trying to feed yourself from a food bank or...
  14. I just checked Chrome & it works on Chrome but not Safari.
  15. I still have nothing.
  16. You're welcome! I hope you can get a resolution but you may just have to go gluten free without an official dx. So many of us do because we can't take the destruction to our bodies any longer. The riot is that I got a dh dx AFTER I had been gluten-free for a long time. What a riot eh? I didn't even go to the doc for that; I was there for something else but...
  17. I agree completely with what Raven said. Here's a link to pathology instructions for a dh biopsy as well as other skin biopsies for different things. Open Original Shared Link You can print it out & highlight the pertinent parts & send or take to derms past & future.
  18. {{{{{ Scott }}}}}} May I ask are you using a Linux OS?
  19. I cleared my cache and reloaded the page. Still a no go.
  20. You have to keep eating gluten for testing & that includes dh testing. Thing is, if you get a dx it will be much easier to get your daughter tested on a regular basis as she should be.
  21. If it's dh rash it can come & go as it pleases.
  22. No, it's good to have both the bloods & the dh biopsy done. You never know when 1 will turn up positive. It is important to see if she got the FULL celiac panel done. We know how docs like to skip some of the tests in it.
  23. Ask for a dh biopsy. Tell them if nothing else you want to rule out celiac disease. Inform your doc that 60% of celiacs who have dh test negative on the celiac blood panel. The dh biopsy must be taken on clear skin adjacent to an active lesion.
