  1. Hey guys, If you love eco-friendly gear, check this out - I just reviewed it and love it! Open Original Shared Link
  2. I use hemp oil all the time, including that brand. Delicious.
  3. Did you call the company? I used to take Jamieson vitamins, then stopped taking them altogether (and get vitamins from foods) - why do you need them? Most people shouldn't need any vitamin C, especially.
  4. Bob's Red Mill Teff is made in their gluten-free plant, and it's gluten-free - I eat it often, and have never reacted.
  5. Almond Breeze has soy (for the original poster). Ryza is free is of all of those. It's a rice milk, so not as thick as cream. You can also cream any nuts. I use cashew cream often.
  6. I disagree. I am a vegan and a certified personal trainer, I eat for fitness along with everything else. I get more than enough protein through plant based foods. I do not consume any animal products, including dairy and eggs.
  7. I fed my (now deceased) fish dried blood worms.
  8. Carbohydrates are the main source of fuel for your body. If you're depleting yourself, you won't have energy.
  9. Considering your body needs minimally 800 calories just to even function things like your heart and other major organs, it's clearly detrimental to your health.
  10. Sorry for the lack of clarification. By HR I mean Heart Rate Zone. The elliptical doesn't always provide a high HR because of the momentum along with it - when you exercise, in order to properly benefit your body, you want to find yourself in an increased heart rate. Depending on your goals, fitness level, that sort of thing, you will know what heart rate...
  11. Hi Landon, Because you are doing some strength training, you should have a mix of a high protein snack with a bit of carbohydrates, to replenish both your systems. Depending on what HR zone you're working in also somewhat depends what the balance should be. Things including bananas are good because they have a high GI so they replenish and release energy...
  12. It completely depends what your workout consists of. What do you usually do?
  13. I wrote this a bit ago, it might help with some organic tips: Open Original Shared Link
  14. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  15. I have a sulphite sensitivty; it makes me feel quite sick, like I am going to throw up, I get a rash. Perhaps it is an allergy, but I just stay away from everything that is processed. I am also severely allergic to sulfa, the drug, but they are NOT related. They are not made from the same ingredients and are not in the same family. If you have a problem...
  16. I'm very sensitive and have never reacted to their products that I have used. I eat their cereal daily.
  17. Yes! I don't have time for a proper reply but here is the nutshell. I did a lot of sports, avid runner, strength training. Got very sick, lost 60+ lbs, near death. Slowly, surely, go better. Now low-end, but normal weight, more muscles than before, soon to start rebuilding cardiovascular endurance (still holding off until I put on a little more body fat...
  18. What kind of rice did you end up using? Some, like jasmine rice, take 15 to 20 minutes, whereas brown rices take about 50. Could it be that?
  19. Fry's Cocoa in the small canister is gluten-free, casein-free and made in a gluten-free/CF facility. The large canister sold at Costco may contain milk ingredients. That is what they told me over Christmas, when I ran out of cocoa and was confused that Costco's was different.
  20. The one at Square One is also keen.
  21. Even though this is an old thread you've brought up, the soy milk they use here at my Starbucks, and every one I have been to in Ontario, is silk, which is gluten-free.
  22. All pills have lactose in them. You'll have to use the patch, shot, or condoms.
  23. Are you sure it is the gluten you are reacting to, and maybe not just, say, something else that day, or too much sugar, or too much fat, or maybe you weren't feeling well? Sometimes we use gluten as a scapegoat, and it might not be that (I am not saying you are wrong... Just not to lead others astray, as it might have not been the larabar.) I'm very sensitive...
  24. Open Original Shared Link It has the info there. And Numi is Gluten-free Casein-free - my favourite!
