  7. We tried this crispy chicken the other night. It's a good basic recipe. We added more pepper to the "batter" and more honey to the salad dressing. I might add more herbs/spices to the coating next time and try to bake rather than cook in oil. But overall it was quick and easy and we'll make it again. Good for school nights! Enjoy! Go to www...

  11. Sazon is good - and they are definitely informed and can help you in selecting gluten-free options Chick Fil A is always good for a quick bite - salads, chicken breast, etc. I'm pretty sure Sabrinas (Italian Market Area) can accommodate the diet. Trader Joes and Whole Foods, too, in the city, will probably be a big help to you. Good luck!
  12. I've only tried the spice cake mix, so far, but it is very very good --- alternate recipe on the bag makes a carrot cake, but it's truly good without the carrots. If you're looking for sweets, Gluten Free Pantry Chocolate Truffle Brownie Mix is soooooooo good, and if you have the time - fudge is relatively easy to mix up and appears "normal" to other...
  13. Taste of Thai -- Spicy Peanut Bake --- It's GREAT on chicken and only 25 minutes. My non gluten-free husband LOVES it over a bed of rice, and it keeps nicely if you want to make some for leftovers. I hate going through all the trouble of cooking for 1 -- anything I can do that gives good leftovers is fabulous. If you go to cookinglight.com they have...
  14. Well, as it turns out - no luck this time....levels are lower today.... But at least we know now that the possibility exists...Over the past 14 months, we had really started to lose hope that it was even possible. 20. Thou must promise not to cringe and make a sour lemon face upon tasting a gluten-free treat, that I am willing to share after I have paid a fortune and raved on about how great it tastes to me! Thou must on occasion (at least 1 out of every 5 dates) suggest and willingly participate in a social activity that does not revolve around food or drink. ...
