  4. OMG: I have been out of town all day. I want to wish the most sincere happy wishes to Ann on her birthday today. May you have a very merry one with your family.
  5. I see no reason what so ever for you to cook two separate dinners. I serve gluten free meals daily and I get nothing but "gosh this is great". It is so easy to swap out a few ingredients and make the same dinner. There is an endless list of gluten free recipies on this site that can be researched. There is no need to eat with less gusto cooking...
  6. Danny, welcome. You need to remember that it took some time to do some damage to your intestines and like-wise, it will take some time to heal. You may continue to have symptoms because the gluten free diet is not an immediate fix. Make sure that you check you toiletries, shampoos, lotions, lip balm or ANYTHING that can get into your mouth. Gluten...
  7. Yes, by all means freeze. The unfrozen life is very short. Take some out a short while before you want to use it.

Gluten Side Winder...it catches you on the side.
  10. WEll, you can go "GREEN" and buy all the recognized employees an azalea or hydrangea plant, or small office plant. Do a recognition letter on the computer and frame it for their office. 11. Julie: I cannot imagine how terrifying it must have been. I hope all your colleagues are safe as well. I wish that I could say something to you that would give you some comfort...but I am wordless. I went to college very near Lexington. It's such a beautiful place in this world. I do wish you some peace and comfort.

Sometimes on a busy day with new topics, a thread can move down the list pretty quickly. I am sure it's here, where is the question.
  14. Today's tragedy is unimaginable. Let's keep the students and parents in our thoughts as this tragic event unfolds. Send them your prayers.
  15. Well, then it looks like your good for go. Reading the ingredients is a key. They do change so be aware. I use Mrs. Dash often and all are gluten free but I always look.
  16. Grinder are a good option especially if they are McCormicks , but no one can tell you if they are gluten free unless you list the ingredience.
  17. Sorry you are feeling so poorly. Back to basics for you until you feel better.
  18. Celiacs do seem to think alike. We posted at the same time, but I type slower.
  19. Jenny: I am sorry about your sons surgery. I hope that all goes well for you and your son. Regarding your food, I would recommend that you talk to the director of Nursing and explain your diet restrictions and Celiac Disease. I would think that the hospital could accommodate you with access to a microwave or a small space in a refrigerator at the...
  20. Welcome to the Club Hannah!
  21. Nancy: I have no issues with Seagrams 7 & 7-up, and throw an orange slice in there too.
  22. Oh my gosh....it is my time for peace and contentment.. I guess this is a throw- back from when my girls were little and hubby was away three/fours day out of the week. Pre-celiac No body bothers you in the bathroom.!! They call out your name and you call back "I'm in the bathroom!".... ok, I'll talk to you later... and it is never very important anyways...
  23. Yes, lotions can have gluten ingredients. I tend to use Dove products and Lubriderm (without oats).
