  8. Just a little input from me..... An endoscopy test for celiac is NOT the same to test for Crohn's. Chrohn's is tested through the large intestines with a colonoscopy, Celiac is tested in the small intestines through and endoscopy. Colitis is tested through the large intestines. If you have a positive blood test, I certainly be would be satisfied...

ARCHIVED Celiac Sprue & Doctor Too!

Ann: I appreciate you posting me back in your "freetime". I think that you put the pin on the head......there is no money in research, because gluten intolerance can be controlled by diet, and no money to feed the phar.industry. Thank you so much for passing the word with patience as well as professionals in your field. You truely are a ground...
  10. I went on to their site that the old "Ann Landers -the new Annie's Mailbox" because she had a question about and 18 year old with IBS and they posted the above website for an IBS group and chat line. 12. I don't know nor have heard nothing about smoking and celiac (small intestines), but I do know that is true that smoking helps people with Crohn's Disease (large intestines).........it help stimulate the system, much the same way coffee will do.
  13. After two weeks, they returned my e-mail. They will not guarantee 100% due to lack of information from suppliers of their ingredients. Bla, I hate that. Getting tired of Dove Shampoo and Conditioner. Any other grocery store shampoos and conditioners that have a confirmed no gluten response? The New Delfi List for 2006 is mighty sparse.
  14. Progresso Cream of Mushroom is gluten free and very good "for canned soup". I usually make my one and it is very easy.

  16. The oatmeal may be causing some problems. There is a high risk in cross contamination is the growing and processing process. (oats and wheat in the same fields) We are past the roll-up stages around here, so no help from me.
  17. Caramel color should not be a problem, but I know nothing about the food color.

    ARCHIVED Losing Hair

I have fine, thin hair. It has not always been that way. I would suggest that you check you folic acid and b-12, and perhaps take supplements and perhaps some iron. It is an ongoing process for me as I have been loosing my thin hair and noticed a lot of breakage. I am hoping that my suppliments will help. Also struggling with this as well. ...

  25. Well..................I came home and tried it on and it looked soooo good. Thought, hum, maybe I should just confirm the ingredients. Said something like crap and got the tissue out and scrubbed. Back to Burts for now until my gut settles down. (which will kick in sometime tomorrow). We drove an hour and a half to take someone Christmas shopping and...
