  3. TURTLE: You need to start a new post and tell your story, sort of like you website. Tell us about the guy and girls out there. I thank you for addressing me, but it's lost on people who don't understand how you wrote me back. Start a new post about the guys and girls in blue, green, kacky and camouflage. (miss anything?). 4. Some of this may be glutened related, many other may be "change" related issues. My peri-med symptoms lasted a good 10 years until the big "P" was gone and done with. But......I still have strange perspiring when I am eating foods. I have not narrowed it down to anything specific and don't know even whether it is gluten related. I have no other "gluttened...
  5. Debra: Would you accept my opinion? When I first started this diet 15 months ago, I was totally at a loss and no where to turn. I did some web research and thank goodness I found these good people here. I even have reserved seating. . I joined the Celiac/Sprue Association and received their list of gluten free products. In retrospect, I...

    ARCHIVED Bread

I never was a bread lover (lucky me!), but the closest that I have found to a roll or a biscuit, is Gillians ,frozen English Muffins. They are not like the regular ones, more like a southern biscuit. Toasted with butter and honey or with some sausage and melted cheese.........pretty darn good. I can only find then in one place a hour and a half away...
  10. Their apple/grape fruit salad with yogurt is really good.........but, pitch the walnuts (wheat flour)
  11. humm...as I recall, Jimmy Dean and Johnsonville (except beer& Brats) are gluten free.
  12. I do know that Lexapro is gluten free. Lipsticks are tricky and have lables that are almost impossible to read. Alot of Mac Lipsticks are gluten free and some Clinique If you google their sites, they will give you their products lists. Also Burts Bee's lipsticks and glosses are gluten free.
  13. You bet!!!!!
  14. BUMP..................(Armetta made me do it ) Rusla, feel better soon.
  15. I am always concerned about bacteria. In order to cook the stuffing to a safe temperature, I find that the turkey gets too dry. Although, it's been done for years, I prefer to cook the stuffing separately. ...just my thoughts.
  16. I am so amazed at your post. How did you know so much about ME!!!
  17. Shesssh.... nini, I thought you were going to nail someone with bear claws. LOL, much relieved. (but I wanted to watch) .......sorry, one of those yucky things before dx's.
  18. You know, sometimes I think about just this. As we struggle to find foods that will keep up health, maintain a home, or a business and working shop and cook, guard celiac disease children, it can be all so consuming. At least for me, sometimes I don't address the food needs of my no-gluten free husband. But he is really good about eating everything...
  19. That's cool Lister, thanks for posting that. It looks like your getting into the swing of it all.
  20. Sorry that you got sick. Sometimes, when I am feeling well, I have to police myself because I seen to get a little laxed... like telling myself that a product can not possible contain gluten, without reading the labels or making a call to verify. It takes constant vigilance.
  21. Depression is a biggie!
  22. Lynne, I just got home from work and saw that you are her. I do hope that you are feeling better and in not tooo much pain. Hang in there. You know, beyond every dark cloud.........there is a rainbow!!!! Let's go find one. Lisa
  23. I use Cranraisins in chicken salad and broccoli salad with no issue. The Cran-train mix may be a problem.
  24. Late in line........I hope that you had a wonderful day, with much glory in your special day. Lisa
