    To make a long story short.........the bread stuffing (gluten) can bleed into the turkey meat and contaminate the entire bird. Cook the suffing separately and not in the bird. Bring a side dish you you can eat.

    I agree. Now that I am able to read lables and am feeling much better, I took a look around and wondered where my friends went. I found it VERY hurtful.   5. Wheat contains glucose, in the form or starch, which is not derived from gluten. Wheat also contains gluten and their proteins.
  6. You have gotten some wonderful answers to you question and I agree 110%. Go for the diet 100% for several months, see how you feel and you may have your answer. Good luck to you.

  11. Hellman's is gluten free. You must be careful about "double dipping" into the jar if you spread it on regular bread. I use the squeeze bottle so there will be no cross contamination. Hope this was helpful.

  23. David: MSG in the US is gluten free, but many react and it is really not so good for you, but still gluten free. And, I believe that dextrose in the US is also gluten free. If the label clearly states that it is derived from wheat in the UK, well........ Sorry that I am not help. You might need to wait for a fellow Islander to chime in.
