  1. Lipton Onion Dried Soup is the ONLY Lipton dry soup that is gluten free. Onion Beef is not. I use the onion alot and have not problems. You can still cook, but only the Lipton Onion.....and still have the same taste. Sorry that you are feeling bad. Lisa
  2. I don't think that I have an answer to that one. I too have been thin all my life. My problem is that I have a very flat bum and a full belly. I am trying to find a way to twist my torso around to get that perfect figure. Honestly, remain gluten free and continue work on those abs.
  3. I served that for Thanksgiving and topped with home made cranberry sauce. Not, the best, but it's good for a fix.
  4. This is all a learning process. To be frank: (who is frank, anyways??, frank, who?) Sometimes within 12-24 hours, I can see what I ate. (got the drift?) Sometimes is see what I remember as normal (can't identify)...that's a good thing. When you see what you consumed, back off of that and go back to the basics, rice, fish, meat, veggies...
  5. Pepsid OTC has helped me. Mylanta is also a quick remedy.
  6. It is not uncommon, roughage is very hard to digest. If you are new to healing, it may pass through fairly quickly.
  7. We all have to be respectful........it could be one of us. But, I don't expect anyone to step forward. I could tell some stories.......can't we all.
  8. Nancy: I think that you have made some wonderful points and very well said!
  9. Lister, Oscar Meyer is alway good. Buy it, fry it, eat it, enjoy it. Opps, your post....Tysons will list wheat in their bacon. I doubt that you will find wheat in their bacon. So, buy it, fry it, eat it, and enjoy it.
  10. Kara: I am not sure why you don't want to consume liquids to flush out your system. I suppose it does not matter what you flush with as long as it is clear and clean. I am not up on the procedure that you have chosen, but I would recommend that you choose a time that will flush you clean by the time of your proceedure. If the GI doc can't have a...
  11. Without ingredience, we can be not too much help. The old rule, rules: When in doubt, don't!
  12. Karen, blow you nose, and come out where ever you are. Hope that you are feeling better. We need you assistance here.
  13. Halibut is not big here in the mid coast east. I could easily see this converted to salmon, trout, flounder. Give this a try: Put Halibut into a foil lined broiler pan. Baste with Honey Ginger butter (Powdered ginger or grind your own and blend with softened butter) Broil for a short time (?) turn carefully, broil other side. The last minue...
  14. There was a clip on TV News this evening that low iron in the blood can effect a pregnancy, or maintaining. I too lost one many years ago between, my two daughters.
  15. whew......glad you guys checked in.....didn't want to send out bad infor.
  16. Welcome Lisa.......there are many Lisa's here. If you are going to a new doctor soon, I would suggest that you stay on a gluten diet. Providing that you are going to be tested, by way of blood test. If you eliminate gluten from you diet now, you will not have an accurate test. What testing have you had done? If you have already have the testing done...
  17. Celiac is not very prevalent in the Asian world as I am sure that your products do not relay that fact. Perhaps you can find some "Wheat Free Tamari", which to me is the good stuff. Good luck
  18. Hormel is a wonderful company and it will list many products as gluten fee, and they will always list.
  19. I also have been informed that the worry about Vanilla, is no longer an issue. The alcohol in vanillia is distilled and therefore, a non issue.
  20. McCormick's Vanilla is gluten free.
  21. HerbSaint is not listed in the Gluten Free Restaurant Guide.
  22. My children are long grown, so I have no recent baby experiences. I would feed him age appropriate food as normal. If you find him reacting to gluten, then I would recommend to eliminate the gluten from his diet. Maybe some of the others moms will check in. This forum is often slow on the weekends but Mondays are fairly active. Lisa
  23. To begin with, especially if you are a newby, I would highly recommend ordering some Triumph Dining Cards. They are printed in several languages and you present them to the manager of your dining choice. You can find them at : www.triumphdining.com A dear friend of mine just sent me "The Essential Gluten-Free Restaurant Guide for 2006-07. It lists...
