  1. I did exactly the same thing. I thought grain-fed but not organic might be okay. I was sick for days.

    ARCHIVED Post-healing...

I am so shocked at how much more stamina/endurance I have now.
  3. My alcohol tolerance completely changed since going gluten-free. I can handle much larger amounts of alcohol than before. Not to say that I do this often. Before gluten-free I would drink and be out of control and sick for days. Now I am very in control and barely get a hangover.
  4. For any Canadians lurking, Cocoa and Fruity Pebbles are not gluten-free in Canada.
  5. I didn't wait to drink since going gluten-free. Were we supposed to wait? Oops.
  6. Lundberg rice cakes, Kinnikinnick frozen pizza crusts, EnerG crackers and Think Organic fruit and nut bars.
  7. Thanks for the update.
  8. Yes, big time. I can't eat any dairy.
  9. You can alternatively use the alcohol-based hand sanitizers, not the antibacterial ones.
  10. I don't know if you have this brand in the states, but Unico is safe.
  11. Donna thanks for the chart, I think that will be very helpful. Pauliina, I have been having digestive problems with regular meat and I can't afford organic very often. So, I have tried to increase the amount of fish that I eat. Yep, olive oil is a staple for me. Thanks for your help. Susie, I love plantain chips, I had them in South America. I haven...
  12. Okay, there has been a lot of discussion on food intolerances lately and how we should not eat the same things everyday. How does a Gluten-free Casein-free person not eat rice, corn and potatoes everyday. I have a high metabolism and eat every two to three hours (except when I'm sleeping even though I would love to be eating then too). I could eat rice...
  13. I agree organic stores are great for meats and some fruits and veggies. However, for products like rice flour, tapioca flour, rice, rice noodles, etc. the asian markets are the way to go. Or even the asian aisles in grocery stores are great for lower prices.
  14. I have stopped eating them because of the potential cc issue.
  15. I just bought some goats milk yogurt as well as some cheese. I'll let you know how it goes.
  16. Thanks. I just received my e-mail from them too and indeed they are safe. Carrie, I have yet to find Old El Paso corn tortillas out here, but I normally buy Grimms (I think) or Western Family. But I saw Manny's so I thought I would give them a try.
  17. Does anyone know if these are gluten-free?
  18. Holy crappers, casein in wine. Maybe that is the cause of my D for the past two weeks. This whole casein thing sucks. I have no problem being gluten-free, but I hate being casein-free. Anyways, thanks for the great and extremely helpful info.
  19. Celiac is huge in Australia. Some of the packaged gluten-free products we get up here are made in Australia, such as Glutino (or Glutano). I always mix those two up, one is Canadian and one is Australian, I think.
  20. That is interesting, I have been wondering if Sunmaid raisins were also giving me grief.
  21. It is not unusual in Europe, but here most people use ketchup. I love french fries with mayo.
  22. I've finished the antibiotics about two weeks ago, that's why I was wondering what it could be.
  23. Wow, let's hope that you don't have C. diff, but if you do, luckily it can be treated. Hopefully it's not colitis either. Yikes.
  24. Thanks for posting this. I can't wait to go shopping.
  25. I agree that cutting out dairy is more restrictive than cutting out gluten. It is rather sad because I love cheese.
