  1. I used to race walk, swim and do kick boxing. It all started back just before the Pernicious Anemia 8 years ago. I have not had the energy since. I so want to get back into it but I feel so sucked down. It is getting slightly better but not a lot but then it has only been two months gluten-free.

    I have not seen anything from that Dr.? on this site. There are snake oil salesmen born every minute. There is no cure and unless there was undisputed proof on the news etc., everywhere, I do not believe it.Unfortunately, there are tons of con men and quacks out there.
  4. I hate to say this but many companies who manufacture food change their recipes and who knows why, maybe they want it to stay on the shelf for 3 years without spoiling. I have a problem with that anyway. Many restaurants who do their own can change recipes or may order their supplies from a different company or different agent. This results in these kinds...
  5. They are very addicting. I first had them at a store down the street, she makes them fresh and uses a separate fryer for them. She does all the stuff with flour in a different fryer. She gave me her recipe. If you don't eat them right away, they can be reheated in the microwave for a few seconds and taste just as good as fresh out of the fryer.

  13. As for pizza why not make a gluten-free pizza. It is difficult to watch people eat what you loved but I have found new things to love and all I have to do is remember the pain.
  14. I always take my fruit to work. When it is food day I bring something that is gluten-free and make sure I get first scoop. That way I have something to eat.   18. For over 20 years the only things I could drink were Vodka, Tequila and rum. I guess it was a dead give away what was wrong, now that I know. I like Mojitos (they are made with rum, Vodka and real lime juice is great and well what else could I say about Tequila straight up or with lime juice.
  19. I have just learned to not touch anything with modified food starch in it. I actually stopped at the store on the way home and read a package of Jell-o Instant pudding but could not find modified food starch on the package.
