    They don't use stuff on my gums because they have to put me out to work on my teeth but I will find out about gloves etc. Actually on Monday I will be calling the dentist. There are rubber damns they use on me that are no latex.

    I have been tho co-op and they have pretty well nothing. It is just dreadful. I either have to go to Safeway in Market Mall for the little bit they have or the health food stores, like Amaranth.

    You said the vinyl gloves have gluten in them? I am going to have to check mine. I am allergic to latex so I can't have them and if the vinyl ones have gluten now I am in big trouble. That means I am glutened everytime the dentist touches me....argggghhhh.

    Maltodextrin is okay. Let me know how it tastes. Maybe I will sneak down to the US this year and buy bigger bra's so I can stuff them with Tofutti Cheese and get them across the border... Where in Canada do you live, maybe I can go over there and get some. We don't have a save-on in Calgary that I know of.

    I have always had nightmares but my worst one to do with gluten was being held prisoner in a room. The had me tied to a chair and were trying to force donuts and bread into my mouth. I wasn't that crazy about donuts before going gluten-free.

    Kraft Chicken and ribs BBQ sauce contains bran. Kraft is very good about listing their ingredients.

    I can say I will not be eating Hershey kisses again. The only thing I have had today besides tofu, and fruit is the 10 kisses. I have a DH outbreak going on.

    Don't forget our "The Girls of Celiac Disease" Calendar. We can sell them together. Maybe we need a website, sell the shirts and calendars. If firemen and policemen can do that...then so should we.

    I have big time pain in my hips. Some days I can barely walk. I used to race walk and would like to get back to it but right now it is not feasible with the pain.

    Well, I figure someone is enamored with my avatar, as it refuses to let me change it. All it has done is shrink the present one...go figure. No new pictures for you folks. Go figure, soon as I say that it pops up...lol

    I have gotten the same type of pains. However, I have in these two months been accidentally glutened. It could be an accidental glutening or it could be the body continuing to cleanse itself. With many years of gluten in our bodies it could take a fair bit of times to cleanse the body.

    I just had 10 hershey kisses before I got on line, I feel so sick now. Then I read this and now I am wondering, what is in those kisses, really. Someone told me most chocolate comanies (big commercial ones like Hershey etc.),use wheat as a binder but don't list it and now I wonder about Hershey.

    I have not found a soy cheese yet that is casein free. However, look for hard cheddar goat cheeses. I have managed to get some that is casein free.

    Even though for many the blood test works but then, there are others where the blood test shows negative and you have to go through the other tests. I fear giving the insurance companies the idea that all it takes is a blood test, would cause them to freak out when biopsies rear their heads.
