This is the letter I got from Moxie's today. Dear Randi-Lee, Thank you for your inquiry regarding gluten free options at Moxie's. Rusla replied to ravenwoodglass's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I am glad someone got an answer because they have not yet answered my emails. So in view of the fact that they did not answer my email immediately I am going to sue them. Also I am going to sue all the dumb people I had to talk to on the phone, the city for not plowing the roads before I left for work and all the dumb drivers who cut me off and drove like... -

Thank goodness, it is not just me with these problems. My mother who is 83 has told me for the more than three years that I am going senile. I was afraid I was going senile. I couldn't remember my phone number, my brothers, at work sometimes I can't even remember where I am. It has been slightly better since going gluten-free but I still have it, I feel like... -

ARCHIVED Celiac Friendly Restaurants In Canada
Rusla replied to Carriefaith's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
You also have a chinese restuarant in Edmonton, listed on the Celiac site that has gluten-free tamari they use in their foods and they will tell you what foods are or are not gluten-free. If you give them enough time they will make anything you want gluten-free. When we went to my brothers up there for New Years that is their favorite restaurant and I was... -
I agree about sending letters to revenue Canada. They took it from a disability rating to a non disability rating. The point that it costs us a great deal, we have to travel (especially in small towns or any provice that doesn't have Toronto of Vancouver in it.) which is all the rest of the provinces. We have to travel all over the place to get our food and...

If you are using any flours but wheat, like corn starch, potato, soy etc. you figure out what a kilo of that compared to a kilo of flour (gluten) type is and you claim the difference. I have kept all my receipts and I circle any of the envirokids cereals and bars that I buy. I have cut the front off of a box off of each so that if they ask I have it for proof...

What you have to do is oz or kilo per kilo. So you add up how much your corn starch totally cost and say altogether it came to $15 for a kilo and all purpose flour is $3.00 a kilo. then you...

ARCHIVED celiac disease Is Big Time News!
Rusla replied to ms-sillyak-screwed's topic in Publications & Publicity
McD did not show malice and intent to be misleading. They went by what they were told by the manufacturer of the product, they are not the manufacturer. They are loosely called a restaurant. These lawsuits will only cause problems for all of us in the future. If any restuarant does have a gluten-free menu get prepared to have to sign waivers before eating...
