  1. I always have thirst issues when I get "glutened". It is one of my FIRST signs of gluten in my food, before a stomach ache, and before the "D". I have always thought it was my body trying to "flush out" the gluten, so it makes me thirsty, so I can have the diarrhea. I don't know if that is because I get the bad "D", or if it is some how other related to...
  2. Is that around San Antonio? There is one there! But maybe my geography is all wrong...
  3. No, I am "central".
  4. Hm, I have mitral-valve prolapse. It is not auto-immune though. Maybe there is a connection. I don't know, and I have never read that anywhere.

    ARCHIVED Ihop

Please be careful if you DO go back to an IHOP. I tried getting eggs over hard (because of the pancake thing, and I want to be able to SEE that there was no CC in my eggs...) and they had a sweet taste. I asked the server and she said that they were still cooked with the other ones, on the same flat top grill, and "was that a problem?" !!!!!!!!!! I won't...
  6. I had one, got it at Walmart. Hated it. Took it back. I don't cook much, maybe that was my problem. I found it harder to use than hand mixers. Messier too.
  7. The first one said I was: Your Type is ESFJ Extroverted Sensing Feeling Judging Strength of the preferences % 44 25 38 11 The second one said: ISFJ The third one said:B!
  8. I did already! They just want to know what WE want the servers to know. What do WE want the servers to be able to tell us at the table, right off the bat, without getting a manager, before we order, that kind of thing. The are already looking into GIG. Good call!
  9. I am in TX too! How cool is this? I am spending the day on the computer, LOL!
  10. I have Celiac Disease. I have Pernicious Anemia (Chronic low B12 for life). I have thyroid issues (the beginning of Hashimotos, doc says my thyroid is "circling the drain"). I didn't find any of this out for 20 years. I wouldn't worry about your kids. They have to show symptoms before you can get them checked. There are hundreds of problems out there...
  11. I agree Rusla! I have strong opinions (and I made the stupid mistake of posting them here once and it started a flash fire that scott put out quickly by deleting the thread) and I try to keep them to myself. BUT, it sounds like, in your case, there was a question posed, ASKING for your beliefs, and you responded, and they didn't like your response?!?! That...
  12. Oh no, just got tired of selling someone elses dream! MOST of the products are ok for Celiacs, but that does not mean they are "good" products . I think you can find better, for cheaper!
  13. Yeah, no one likes us lets go eat worms together! Thanks for my belated birthday wishes, just kidding all! I actually had a very nice birthday, with Chelsea!
  14. Thanks guys! These are all great!!
  15. I know! Rare, eh?
  16. No body told me happy birthday on here...... Guess I am not as cool as Chelsea Guess I will go eat worms Atleast they are gluten free....I think you can have them too Chelsea, they are low fiber... Happy Birthday girl!
  17. I have never heard of that (which doesn't mean anything!). I just didn't want you to think no one cared about your post. Sorry I can't be of help! Hope things turn around for you!
  18. What up yo? Cold, ain't it?
  19. Oh, that was so long ago girl, and nowadays, it would roll off my back! And I am so glad you are enjoying it! I am using gloMinerals now. They are PRESSED!!!! Nice little compact of mineral make-up! No more messy minerals getting everywhere!! (Yeah, I quit using/selling Mary Kay....so sad... ).
  20. I also suggest the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It was GREAT information! I have ALWAYS had really weird period schedules. My last doc wanted to do surgery to "see" what was going on, because he had no idea. (I said no). I am now seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist. They are running LOTS of blood work, and doing all kinds of tests. My last period...
  21. You might want to look up Dermatitis Herpetiformis. It is a rash that can look like eczema. Perhaps he is having a reaction to gluten (that is what causes DH). Open Original Shared Link There is a picture of DH on someones back. And Spaghetti Squash is a type of yellow squash (isn't it yellow guys??). It is a veggie! Hope your little boy is feeling...
  22. Me either. And if you check the back of a bag of shredded cheese, say, Walmart brand, some say "Potato Starch:to prevent caking" or something to that effect. I think they use other starches because of wheat allergies.
  23. I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time. I know that most people find it easiest to cook and eat at home. I had my blood tests taken at various stages of gluten free, and I was VERY LOW after one month. I don't know how this would effect the biopsy. Sorry I don't have more information. I wish you luck!
  24. I decided not to have the endoscopy. I didn't need it to prove to me that I was sick when I ate gluten. I had already had several blood tests (A.L.C.A.T., EnteroLab, Gene testing, and my primary doc's blood work) so the endoscopy wouldn't make a difference to me. That is my personal opinion. Some people want the confirmation. I also found out that my insurance...
