  1. It does have one egg in it, perhaps it could be subbed for something else though? I will post it tomorrow when I get home from the races.
  2. I eat the black pepper jack doritos all the time with no problems.
  3. Okay, for those of you that have this cookbook, give the Chicken Biscuit Surprise on pg. 134 a try. It is fabulous! I thought it looked kind of gross, but I decided to try it anyway and it's really good. I think this recipe would also do well with other shredded meats (tuna, crab, etc.). The little sandwiches make GREAT breakfast sandwiches. DH and picky...
  4. I would also suspect those Hall cough drops. The new formulations may very well be gluten free, but did you get a new pack? It could have been sitting on the shelf for a while at the store. I know there are several people who have gotten ill off of Halls cough drops.
  5. I don't have anything useful to add. I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for your losses.
  6. If your kids are that young, definitely do Dutch Wonderland next time you come out this way. Your little ones will be able to go on almost every ride in the park by next summer. My daughter is two and we go often (probably too often). We only live about half an hour from the park. I haven't had her to Hershey yet. Are there many rides for little ones?
  7. I don't know how old your kids are, but if they are young, you may also want to take them to Dutch Wonderland next year. It's no where near as big as Hershey Park, but it 's a great place for the little ones. They have a Kosher stand that has gluten free options. Also, they will let you take gluten free food into the park if you have Celiac Disease.
  8. Some of the Ore-Ida fries are safe, some are not. I imagine that it's possible to get a slight fever when glutened since it causes an immune system reaction. Maybe someone more experienced with the medical aspects of the disease could clarify.
  9. They didn't get it from anywhere around here. I asked. PA liquor laws are really, really ridiculous. They aren't allowed to carry beer in the grocery store here, and I've checked with every distributor in the phone book in Lancaster county and NONE have it or can get it. Ugh... Luckily Outback will be selling six packs of Bard's Tale now. She said that the...
  10. That is exactly what happened to me when I got food poisoning. It wasn't gluten related. I hope for your sake it was just a little gluten. I hope you're feeling better soon! Let us know.
  11. Woo-Hoo!!! Beginning Tuesday my Outback will be adding Bard's Tale Beer to the menu. This is really exciting because as far as I know, Outback will be the only place within two hours of here that has gluten free beer.
  12. Their seasoned butter is NOT gluten free. They may however have gluten free butter in the back that they could bring out for you. I'm not sure on this.
  13. I also suffered from exhaustion. It got much better after I switched all of my body products to gluten free ones. I was using Bath and Body Works lotion before and I swear that's why I was still so tired. It has oats in it.
  14. Okay, so I've been begging for gluten free beer for every holiday for the last year and a half and I've never gotten any before. Yesterday was my birthday and my DH drove an hour and a half each way to go down to Maryland to get me a case. This was the first time in over two years that I've had a beer. Anyway, I know there are tons of other posts raving about...
  15. I talked to the manager at my Outback Steakhouse tonight and she's going to see about ordering gluten free beer for the menu. I've asked several times before, but this time they brought out the manager that's in charge of ordering. She was very friendly and told me that she would do everything she could to get some gluten free beer in that restaurant. This...
  16. I don't have a crust recipe, but... I normally make mine crustless. They're lower cal/fat that way and I think they're much yummier.
  17. DEFINITELY try the Tinkyada pastas. They even have a lasagna noodle. All of their pastas taste and feel just like the real thing. They withstand quite a bit of overcooking too.
  18. Yes, Red Bull is a lifesaver. Propel fitness water seems to help too. I take both when I've been glutened. I take a Red Bull as soon as I realize it, and then I drink Propel only until I begin to feel better. This seems to make the glutenings much easier to handle. I'm glad you're feeling better.
  19. Well, I made it regardless of the recent events. :-) Boy was I nervous though. We ended up going to MGM Studios (which from my recollection was pretty lame) and it was absolutely amazing. I guess they added new stuff since I was there a couple years ago because I had a really good time. I had excellent meals both at Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney and...
  20. I used to use the Aussie Mega and my scalp broke out into a terrible rash. The rash was gone within 3 days of when I stopped using it. Take it for what it's worth.
  21. I have no clue if they'd be receptive to going anywhere outside of the touristy area. Where is Seasons 52 located? I leave early Friday morning. Luckily the flight is only 2.5 hours, so I probably won't need much in the way of snacks. I have a bag packed full though just in case.
  22. I know that the Almay blush that I used to have had oat flour in it. I'm sorry, I don't know about any of the other products. If they still have their product codes on them, I would call the company.
  23. Wow! Even the strawberry ones? That's such great news! You made my day!
  24. Thanks for the reminder... Now if only I could get a member of my family to actually do some researching on the subject! Errrr... Becky, if you read this, I didn't mean you.
  25. Does anyone know if the frappaccinos that they sell pre-bottled in supermarkets are gluten free? I think they are Starbucks brand, but I could be wrong. They have coffee flavor, mocha flavor, vanilla flavor, caramel flavor, and a new strawberry cream one. Which, if any, are gluten free? Thanks in advance.
