  1. I have eaten them on occasion without any reaction. DS eats them more frequently than I do and his bloodwork was negative when checked not too long ago. Not only was his bloodwork negative, but the Dr was shocked at how quickly his ttg levels went from extremely high to normal. I would say that he eats them 1-2 times per month.
  2. I eat Snyder's White Corn Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips. They have very few ingredients.....no soy and no gluten. They also have 4 grams of fiber per serving.
  3. I would imagine that the guar gum would take the place of the Xanthan gum, but I am not positive. Let us know how they turned out.
  4. I may have posted that. Here is the recipe I use, it was my Grandmother's: Cookies- 1 cup sugar
  5. We make this all the time. The dough is very sticky. I use pam & cornmeal on the pan and I have to Pam my spatula several times to help spread out the dough. I make one 12 inch round and then I put the rest of the dough on a cookie sheet and make a rectangular pizza that is a little thicker. You may have to cook it for a bit first, after it is done...
  6. My son would be so happy if there was gluten-free tortellini!! I probably could try to make it by hand, but I have never tried. I have had one too many gluten-free baking failures, I guess...LOL!
  7. I make Pamela's in my Zo and use the Basic and Medium settings. It comes out perfect every time. It may rise more than it may need to, but it is always awesome. DS is super picky and he loves it.
  8. My son's was 222 at age 10. A year later it was under 20, where it is supposed to be.
  9. I know there is a Tommy's Pizza in Dublin and also one close to campus. Not sure if this was the Tommy's that sent the email or not.
  10. My son drinks powerade (blue & red) all the time with no issues whatsoever. He just had his 1 year bloodwork come back completely normal (TTG) after it had been astronomical before his diagnosis. I would bet that it was the flour in the air. I hate to even go down the baking aisle in the mainstream grocery stores anymore!
  11. Donatos Pizza makes a No Dough Pizza that is gluten-free. Here is a list of places we frequent in Columbus, Ohio that have gluten-free menus: Cheeseburger in Paradise Smokey Bones Texas Roadhouse Outback Bonefish Grill First Watch Red Robin Molly Woos PF Changs All Cameron Mitchell Restaurants Hyde Park (no menu, but they will cater to...
  12. My dr just prescribed Repliva for me last week. I contacted the manufacturer and it is gluten-free. I just started to take it yesterday. I am also very sensitive to iron and most iron pills make me feel horrible. So far, so good with Repliva.
  13. YAY!!! That is great!! I am another one who loves the Alice Springs Chicken! YUM!!!
  14. Yes, the fries at Red Robin & Cheeseburger in Paradise are gluten-free. They both used dedicated fryers. I also have a weakness for fries and the ones at CIP have become my favorite!
  15. I have only had that dish once at PF Changs, but it was not really spicy. My Mom even tried it and she doesn't like spicy stuff at all.
  16. That is great news!! I will have to check out our Kroger. DS loves the Kinnikinnick pizza crusts and the only place in town that carries them is not nearly as close as Kroger and it is probably more expensive that Kroger too.
  17. I posted the other day about making this and how much DS loved it. I have to tell you all that one of my best friends also tried it and loved it (she is not gluten-free) and wanted the recipe. I really can't say enough good things about this bread. One large loaf was gone within 2-3 days, with DS eating the majority of it! LOL!
  18. How sweet!!! That meal sounds amazing!
  19. This bread is TDF!!!! So moist and yummy!!! DS is stuffing his face right now with a couple pieces for breakfast. He keeps saying how good it is after every bite!! Definitely a must try!!! Thanks for posting this wonderful recipe!
  20. I am making this right now and it smells heavenly!!! I can't wait to have a piece!!! I'll post back and let you know what my family thinks.
  21. Ooooh....thanks for posting the recipe!!! Now I can make them at home!
  22. I don't eat at PF Changs often b/c it is 20 - 30 minutes from my house, but we did tonight. I usually eat Phillips Better Lemon Chicken, which is very good. Tonight I decided to try something new and had the Singapore Street Noodles (rice noodles) and I was amazed...WOW!!! Noodles with carrots, tomotoes, chicken, shrimp and a curry sauce. My non-gluten...

    ARCHIVED Preggie Pops

Not sure if they are gluten-free or not, but I found some at Motherhood Maternity. I bought some for my sister who is due in Feb. They came in a pack of 6 or 8, I think.
  24. Hope that everything turns out okay for you! Glad that you are getting it looked at.
  25. We use Hormel Chili with Beans all the time. Bar S hotdogs are gluten-free, I have contacted to company to verify. Hope you are feeling better soon! It does stink that some companies use oatmeal. wheat starch, etc as a filler to make a product go farther.
