  2. Judy, did you send me a PM? I haven't gotten any. I did reply in our Cape May thread, but I will just send you a PM and tell you all about it I'll see if John and I could go, it sounds fun!
  3. I work at Hershey, but actually have never seen a GI doc, my family dr knew about celiac. She explained it to me and said this is a very common condition and it goes undiagnosed. She also many doctors pin IBS on a person without even checking into anything else. I did have a celiac panel drawn and it was positive and started the diet and never looked back...
  4. I live on the East Coast too, and I saw it yesterday morning. Well, I was doing OT in the Clin Labs last night at my hospital, which I do frequently. We were talking about it and we always joke about the ER and having to wait, well at least I can say from my own experience, we always treat people and if someone came to us in this condition I highly doubt...
  5. Some of you may or may not know about the woman in CA that died in the ER. I heard the story and it just really upset me. This should have never happened. It bothers me more, I work in a hospital and we are taught to do whatever we can to help our patients and their families. Our hospital is a large hospital, so the volume of people being seen is high. ...
  6. They train for alot of their positions. I actually have an IT degree. Everything I learned, I picked up working in the Lab as a Specimen Processor. It helped me to take my new job.
  7. I use the Gluten Free Pantry's angel food cake mix, and then spread fresh strawberries and whipped cream on top.

  11. Peter, It really opened my eyes and it got me to thinking. I am not sure if you had been in there store when they had the gluten free labels on their products yet, but it is such a help. I currently travel to shop there, but in Sept our store is opening. I have always had great service when I went into that store, and I have been in a few different locations...
  12. Hi Molly! Only 1 year left in school, I remember that boy did it fly. 14. I was all for the gluten free labeling and then I read something that made me open my eyes. It was on the Wegmans site and I am going to copy the link and paste it below. This is a letter they sent the FDA concerning the new gluten free labeling. It really made me think. What about you guys? Open Original Shared Link I am one of their customers who...
  15. I also eat them all the time and have no problems.
  16. I used Crest toothpaste and Arm and Hammer peroxicare with no problems. I don't drink coffee so I cannot help there either. The one thing that it could be, maybe you actually have a stomach virus right now, there is a nasty one going around, a lot of my coworkers have been sick with it and they all had the same symptoms you mentioned the gas, bloating...

  22. I would think (not sure though) that with all the chemicals that are in public pools it is highly unlikely. From my own personal experience I have never had a problem.
  23. I was not a fan of the Whole Foods bread, it was one of the best I had, I am just picky I enjoy the Grainless Baker sandwich bread. I have been eating corn wraps now as sandwiches, much cleanier and less crumbs.
  24. They were in with the regular frozen foods, in the area where you find hamburger patties and such. I was shocked, I had to rub my eyes a few times.
